Review: It worked great for diagnostics on a 0-5vdc speed bias input. - Great Diagnostic Tool at a Great Prics Directions are included and translation is not too difficult. Convient set of accessories included.
Review: This device is excellent for the money. - This simulator will do 0-10, 2-10 2-5, 0-3.3 Volts and 0-20, 4-20, 0-22 ma. It will display output value, percent of range or 0 to 50 HZ (not so useful in the US). It can be calibrated and the encoder steps can be adjusted. It is not likely to hold up to daily use in an industrial environment but for someone like myself that on occasion needs to simulate a transducer, it is perfect. I also purchased a micro usb to micro usb charging cable. I can use my phone to power the unit on the rare occasions that I need it without worrying about batteries or separate power supply.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can i use this as a one pulse per second generator? I don't see a way to adjust frequency**
A: Hi, this device is designed to simulate voltage and current signal, can't be used as a one pulse per second generator.

**Q: how do you install a battery?**
A: It does not come with a battery but you can buy a Lipo Rechargeable Lithium Polymer ion battery pack. The battery pack comes per-wired with the proper connector. Verify the connector pin polarity is correct before connecting. I just installed the YDL 3.7V 2800mAh 623360 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BTRLKPT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and it works fine. To disassemble

     1. Ensure battery switch is in the OFF position.
     2. Remove knob from dial encoder.
     3. Remove nut from dial encoder.
     4. Use small screwdriver to separate top from case (slots on one end to make this easy to do).
     5. Remove 4 screws holding pcb in case
     6. Remove pcb and flip over. Two pin JST connector on bottom for battery pack connection (polarity is marked)
     7. Assuming polarity of battery pack connector matches pcb connector just plug the battery pack in.
     8. Mound battery pack in case with double back tape or velcro pieces.
     9. Reassemble in reverse order.
The unit should power up when battery switch is placed in ON position.

**Q: Can this output a current duty cycle?**
A: Not that I’ve found. Instructions a little sparse, Nicky made unit though, and reasonably accruate, certainly for the cost.

**Q: To the manufacturer...would you consider upgraded terminal block to the quality cam lever action terminal block instead of the screw block.**
A: If one is considering a high-current application, a Cam-Lever type terminal will not provide the compression needed over a wide area for a proper connection.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well but no battery. Here's how to add one.
*by T***R on August 28, 2019*

Works pretty well. Was off by about 10% when I got it but was able to get it calibrated pretty close after fiddling around with the instructions. It does NOT come with a built in battery and you need to power it externally. However, I took it apart and found a 2 pin connector for a lipo. I checked the charge voltage which was 4.25v which is on the high end for a 3.7v lipo. I picked up a small lipo pack and plugged it in and now I have an internal battery. It seems to charge off of the micro USB and it hasn't blown up in my face yet. I'd recommend keeping the instructions handy as it's not very straight forward when calibrating or going through settings.
