Does what it advertises
The Cutex ridge filler works well, is easy to apply and dries quickly. Due to the colour it appears in the bottle I'd hoped I would be able to wear it on it's own, but because it dries matte it looks a bit weird, so a top coat of polish does need to be applied. At the price I'm not sure if I would purchase again.

It works!!
It really does fill in the ridges snd can be worn with or without nail varnish. I also feel my nails are stronger since I began using it.

Does exactly what it promises
My nails are very ridged, so wasn’t sure this product would give me the smooth surface I was hoping for, but it did. Will use this base coat every time I do my nails now. Excellent.

Rubbery and peels off
This is no good as a first coat. Better used on its own but it does peel off

Did fill in the ridges, but it's a very strange product
Nice slim brush so easy to spread on the nails.Dries quickly to leave a 'grainy' finish on the nail (grains are the ridge filling bit that sit in the ridges.)This is a good ridge filler if going off "does it do the job" alone, but unfortunately it's going either in the bin, or I'll palm it off to a friend.The grainy appearance shows through the polish, and my normally very quick drying polish brand I have used for years with no issues at all is refusing to dry fully after 3 HOURS! Normally after 30 min I'm good to go with cleaning, cooking, banging my nails against stuff, 3 hours later it still feels tacky and I've just slightly jarred a nail on a drawer and my polish has crinkled really strangely, like fabric almost, inspiring me to write this review.Very disappointed.
