Nice unobtrusive blue sheen helps disguise yellowing older nails and they look much nicer, but I wish Cutex would adopt a wider brush like most other nail varnish has these days

I bought this to use as normal nail varnish.It’s absolutely brilliant..... it goes on easily, nice thin texture, I use three coats, and it gives my nails a lovely white shine, the same result as using a base and top coat.It dries really quickly. And doesn’t go gloopy and thick even after several applications.It stay’s on for day’s without chipping, I can highly recommend without hesitation.

I'm struggling a little with the review for this and despite reading all the product information, directions for use and actually using it.... I'm still not sure what it does! The information on the box is a bit of a contradiction... it claims to be a treatment for yellowing nails caused by staining of nail polish and will instantly brighten but also that it 'conceals' yellow tones. Does it fix yellow tones and staining or just cover up?? I don't know. Having used it, I'd say it covers up. I took it off after using to test the instant whitening and thought my nails looked the same as they did before I started... regardless of what it is it stays on well. It's been on for more than a week without chipping or wearing off.I didn't like it at all the first time I used it. I got on better the second time. It's really thin and if you use too much you end up just moving it round everywhere, getting gaps in the coverage and pooling at the sides and bottom of the nail. Initially my nails looked really white and I was a bit confused about why anyone would want that... but it dries a much more natural colour. Still quite pale and I think I'd prefer it to be pink-ish more than white-ish if wearing it alone. I think the trick is to use a really thin layer.All that said, I'm not really sure what the difference is between this and a base coat. Although it can be worn alone, I'm not a huge fan of the colour. It's really iridescent in the bottle but it doesn't result in iridescent nails on application. It's pretty reasonably priced and nails do look nice and tidy and quite shiny. But despite this I'm not overly enthused by the colour and I don't think this will be a regular addition to my nail care routine.

Applies well. Easy to avoid that Milky uneven appearance. Is better than naked nails. You’ll have to take my word for it that my tips were slightly yellow before as I didn’t take a before pic.

This is not the usual cutex stained nail corrector formula. It has a beige pigment making the nail look discoloured rather than the usual pearlescent property. I have had to use 4 coats to my usual 2 coats and not at all happy with the finish. Very disappointed.

This polish is brilliant! Being very old (61) my nails tend to be a bit yellow and horrid but after using this they look lovely! I'm so pleased and will definitely be ordering again.

This does make your nails look nicer shiny with a slight colour used for a week have not noticed any change to slight stains though
