Great storage for my vinyl!
I LOVE these! I have been looking for a nice way to store my vinyl and these do the job perfectly! They are well made and are relatively simple to put together. They are made of solid wood and are excellent quality. I find them to be extremely sturdy.I love them so much that I've bought 3 since my original purchase. I even purchased a few for a friend. They store a nice amount of LP's- about 40-50 I'd say depending on the size of the vinyl. Obviously box sets take up more space. They are a perfect size. They fit nicely in the corner and look lovely stacked as well. I actually started to decorate them with the stickers that often come in the vinyl package. They look really nice against the black wood.I've had some for years and others that are new and both look exactly the same. The older ones are holding up really well. There are no noticeable scratches or any type of wear that can start to surface after years of use. They are a very reasonable price for excellent quality. I've always received them fast and well packaged.I really couldn't be happier with these and will continue to purchase more to store my vinyl.

good little storage
alright, let's start with the fact that this cost $18, it's not going to be amazing heirloom furniture. it's going to be decent, pretty-looking storage--compared to plastic boxes/shelves. and when i opened the box, that's exactly what it was. so, expectations=reality=happy.it was easy to assemble and all the pieces were included. i would suggest using a drill because it was a little tiring screwing all the nails in by hand with a screwdriver. that being said, it is possible. perhaps, i didn't screw it in deep enough (flush with the top) because i couldn't figure out how to put the screw covers on, but that's not a huge deal for me. it did have a corner where the nail between the bottom piece and side piece sort of fit through the pre-made hole. i was a little concerned, but the back piece and the top piece help to stabilize it. that being said, it does wobble side to side a bit, but as long as you don't lean anything on it, it's fine. also, setting it on a floor will probably help so it doesn't wobble.another option, for $2 more is the waybasics one, which i was considering, but cheaped out on. that way you won't have to deal with screws! i checked their website and even though it's some kind of paper, a 200lb guy stood and sat on it. pretty impressive. but i'm only using this to hold my makeup collection, so i don't need it to withstand 200lbs. i did, however, not put my heavy divider on top of it, but instead put brushes, liners, and shadows. not sure that it was too heavy for the shelf, but i just didn't like the setup.

The collector's companion
The media could not be loaded. Watch the my video review here for a closer look!I've used this storage cube for a few months now and I'm very happy with it. This is perfect for people with small or medium sized collections. I use it to house my small collection of 35 albums (some are double LP). The cube measures 15x15x15 inches and it is a very simple design.Pros:- Easy to assemble- Looks great- Different colors are available- Can be attached with other cubes- Affordable- Perfect size to put a turntable on topCons:- Not solid wood.- No rubber feet for stability.Overall a great product and very recommended for vinyl collectors.

Great, cut them and used to build a custom computer desk (pics attached)!
These storage cubes are fantastic. For a couple years now, I've been looking for a way to build my own desk. I work from home remotely on my own PC doing programming and wanted a larger desk, but where my computer and workstation are positioned it was difficult to find a desk matching the exact dimensions I wanted. To buy tons of plywood would be expensive to build my own and I also don't own many tools besides a circular saw for cutting wood nice. Finally the other day I ran into these Foremost open storage cubes right here on Amazon. I thought it was a perfect product I could use to build my own desk out of. The 15 inch size wasn't quiet perfect for a desk to stack two of them, so I took a gamble and thought why not try cutting them in half? I ordered four of them and couldn't wait to see what I could build out of them.I got my cubes arrived only in one day (they ship from my neighboring state of NJ where my family is from). The packaging was excellent, beautifully stacked in a small package ready for assembly and included all the parts undamaged and unscratched. Very high quality product right off the bat that, they feel and look like something worth more than the $15 price tag per cube. I assembled two of them in their 15" by 15" size and then began to measure and cut the top two out for my custom desk size. I wanted my desk to be exactly 25" tall and I had to cut two of these cubes in a very weird size.Unlike others, I actually got to see what is in the middle of these. They are hollowed out in the middle, and are someone dependent on the edges for stability of the side panel accents (I will attach pictures of the middle soon). I cut them up using a circular saw. They cut very easily although the edges get scratched/nicked up and need touch up.Because they were hollowed out, I had to drill the corners of each where there was solid wood instead of using the spots where they would originally drill to. The back paneling was easy to cut using a hand knife. All in all, they came out really well and are definitely stable enough for a desk. I'm quiet happy with the result although I have mixed feelings on the color. The paint looks great on them but maybe I should have went with the natural or white.Other than that, I am quiet happy with how this came out. By default, the blocks came with small metal plates (which was nice) that allows you to connect multiple ones together so they don't slide by drilling the plates on the back side. I'm sure the manufacturer doesn't recommend cutting them like I did, and I would only recommend it if you have carpenter skills otherwise you may do a botch job and waste money. But I think they are still pretty stable for stacking if you do it correctly. As far as my desk goes, the top is nothing fancy for now and it's just laying ontop but later I did get L brackets to connect if if I don't want it to slip around. All in all, great product, a good solution for anything really. I may buy more in the future because they are a very decorative way to organize junk. They are definitely more economical than other conventional furniture as well. 5/5 product, ask me any questions you got about them and I would be happy to answer!
