Wubbers Wire Looping Pliers

This tool does what it is advertised to do...it speads up jewelry construction by streamlining the looping process. Instead of having to use two tools (flat nose and looping pliers)to make a simple eye pin or closed loop, the Wubbers tool takes care of the job. The tool is comfortable to use and fairly stable. It is as its says...for small wire and makes only one size loop. However, for many jewelry makers, that's pretty much what is needed most of the time.I would recommend this tool to other jewelry makers.

I have been doing beadwork and jewelry design for over 20 years. These pliers are used almost daily and are among my Holy Grail tools. I use them with 20 and 22 gauge wire and get excellent results. Uneven loops are no longer my nemesis! The video tutorial is very helpful for understanding the technique for these pliers. Due to my high satisfaction with this product, I will be looking to purchase other tools in the wubbers line. I am thrilled with my increased productivity and consistent loops. I would love to see this tool designed for different gauge wire.

In trying to make loops with 20 gauge wire, the wire would be moving thus making it quite difficult to make a nice and round loop. For me, it works perfectly with an 18 gauge wire - definitely not a 20 gauge.

This is AMAZING!!! I use to love the idea of making my own necklaces and earrings, but i could never make a good loop. But this time i wanted to make a friend something and i wanted it to look like i bought it already made from a store, To my surprise my family and friends could not tell earrings i made were homemade! It took a few tries to get the feel of the new tool. However even my first attempt looked better than my loops before this tool. By my fifth try i could make a really nice round loop. I totally recommend this tool! I now want the larger one. Oh, on the back of the packaging has a website and tutorial for using the Wubbers wire looping pliers. Tip: When shopping make sure you get the Wubbers wire Looper Pliers and not the Wubbers bails wire pliers. You can tell them apart easily, the correct Looping pliers look like a tiny curling iron and the bails one has two metal rods that are the same size.

The service and price where awesome, my problem was with the tool itself and the dvd. It didn't explain that the dvd that is altered from it's original circular shape can be played in your dvd player, I still haven't watched it but watched those online. The Wubbler Pliers smaller bar is bent away from the bottom piece making a gap larger then the wire and thus having free play to where it can't grasp the wire unless the gage is fatter. The loops I did make were consistant and I love what this tool COULD do. I tried to bend it into the bottom piece but am afraid to use to much force in that it will break off. Would I order it again? No, not inless it was from a store here that carried it.

Excellent. Comfy to use and makes perfect loops. I don't care for the feel of the material that's on the handles but it's minor and not a huge deal - it's a little rough to the touch; but, on the upside, it really helps with gripping the tool. Using this is much easier than the traditional way of doing loops - especially wrapped ones. Also easier and better than the one-step looper (that doesn't do wrapped loops at all). Recommend.

The plyer makes a nice single open loop however I watched a video of the owner of the company making a closed loop chain with beads in between. She said she was using sterling silver 20 gauge wire and was demonstrating a loop with wrap around for a closed loop. Well I tried this with these looping plyers and it doesn’t hold on to the 20 gauge wire as demonstrated in the video. The wire swings around while you’re holding it so basically unless I use a higher gauge wire this tool is useless for me. I could easily use a less expensive tool to do the closed hoop and wrap around.

The media could not be loaded. I’m extremely disappointed in these pair of Wubbers pliers. I have numerous pairs of other Wubbers pliers and have had no issues with them for years of use. But this set simply doesn’t hold onto the wire to form a loop like they’re made and advertised to do. So they will be returned.
