Villager Amiibo - Japan Import (Super Smash Bros Series)

Villager is my favorite super smash bros. character, and the japanese import of the reprint villager was at MSRP on amazon during the US reprint, so of course I had to grab him. The amiibo itself looks great, and is a lot more visually appealing than the first print that went out. There are a lot of complaints about a large forehead on the figure, but that's up to the luck of the draw, (print?) really. I got lucky with mine and ended up with a normal looking figure. As for functionality, the amiibo is compatible on multiple titles for various unlockables and functions (i.e. training an amiibo fighter on smash bros vs. unlocking a costume on mariokart 8.). I would love to see more game compatibility but as a collectible figure, I am very satisfied with my villager!

If you can forgive the slightly inflated price, I suggest this figure. It would cost about the same to order from a GameStop or something due to import costs so it is worth it. My only other problem is that the box was curved at the top and for a collector isn't great. I do not plan to open the amiibo so I can't test if the figure works but it looks like it would work. The price but mostly the box condition are the only reasons for taking off a star. You should probably take this opportunity to get one of the rarest amiibos.Cheers.

This little guy right here saved me a ton of money!!! Before nintendo did re-releases I had no hoping of getting him under $100 and thats more then I was willing to spend. The import market is much kinder to the US collector as stores here didnt like to do preorders, put them up in the middle of the night, or caused the whole companies servers to crash. These are identitcal to the us versions with the exception of the packaging. The amiibo from all regions work with all wiiu or 3ds.

Great figure for smash. Only problem I had was the package was open and the amiibo had dust on him. Got the dust removed without a problem. Good figure for smash fans and collectors. Would recommend!

Purchased this for my girlfriend because she collects Amiibos. This one was particularly rare, at least locally, for a while. I purchased the Japanese import (as it was the cheapest option on here at the time) and paid a significant markup for it. Few weeks later, these showed up in Toys R Us in huge quantities for less than half what I paid.Regardless, it is what it is. Despite it being a Japanese import, it works just fine on NA games.

I didn't buy this with the intention of using it as it was designed. I bought it because I believe it has great resemblance to my son, and so I have it at work to remind me of him, instead of having a picture. I think it reflects his playful self and attire down to a T, so to me, this were $12 well spent.

Looks fantastic. Bought from Japan and arrived when stated. Still in box...a must have!

Arrived on time as promised. Thank you! But...AC Happy Home Designer did not allow Murabiito to be in the game. When I scanned it over, I received a message saying, 'we cannot invite someone from outside the village/area'. Instead, I was just rewarded with the statue of Murabiito in the game for my interest. Very disappointed...

As an amiibo collector, I am very happy with this product.Amiibos are not only functional, they also make great collectors items. I have mine displayed, in a way that they look great, and are functional if I want to utilize the NFC technology.Nintendo had a great idea with these Toys to Life. Although they are not the first company to make a product like this, they have done it well.These are solid figures that bring a sense of nostalgia to people. They are high quality figures which can stand up to quite a bit of abuse. They will not break if dropped, and are flexible enough that you will not wreck them easily.They utilize NFC (Near Field Communication) technology which is a chip that communicates with your game device. They can be used to either send data to games, or to record data from games. This means that some games may record something important (Such as Smash Bros saving the fighting style of the character), or it may just read that you have an amiibo and unlock a feature (such as Hyrule Warriors unlocking bonuses for any amiibo scanned).Nintendo is doing more with games and amiibos as time goes on and I'm excited to see what they have for the future. I'd recommend getting any amiibo you want as soon as you can. There is no guarantee that they will produce any more of the old amiibos since they're always coming out with new games, and new amiibos.

Un muy buen amiibo y me parece que tiene una muy buena calidad. Vale la pena si te interesa coleccionar estas figuras o si quieres utilizarlo en los juegos de Nintendo.
