I must admit this works pretty well. I keep it outside near the garage door, and there is no really bad atrocious smell.

I have a giant chocolate lab and a golden retriever puppy - and I live in hot Dallas. Pet waste in my backyard in one of my biggest problems. The smell often makes me gag and become sick, and in the summer, it is absolutely disgusting to have our outdoor trash can full of dog waste because we have an outdoor car port, not a garage or enclosed space for our outdoor trash. I was at my wit's end trying to find a solution and took a chance on this product.I cannot believe it works as well as it works. My yard is large and I am still saving up enough to really make into something special, so I just set this can down flat on the grass and started filling it up with waste (I try to clean up after the dogs pretty soon after they potty). The can actually contains the smell extremely well, to the point that even if you are standing next to the can, and it is full, you can't smell anything, and there are not clouds of flies hanging around anymore.Once a week I tie up the trash bag and stick it in our outdoor trash can. If you have multiple dogs with healthy digestive systems, and dread that summer stink, you need this product

This has to be the best pet poop trash can I’ve ever bought and worth it! I would have given it 5 stars but the bin insert that came with the unit was 1. I wish it had enough space for a trash bag liner vs just using the basket insert. 2. It arrived dented. I personally like using or putting a trash bag liner with 2 tablespoons of coffee grounds to assist with the smell. But the pet poop trash can doesn’t really need it. It really does minimize the odor. We have 4 fur babies and holds up to a week of use before trash day.The only flaw I kinda see in the design is when it rains. The roll of bags at the top get wet and holds water with no drain hole for the water to drain.Other than that, it’s so worth the money!

I live in an apartment complex and have a very small yard. We are told we must pick up poop immediately or we can be fined, but I am not putting poop in my trashcan inside for it to just sit around. We used to just bag it, tie off the bag, and put it in a regular trash can outside, but that smelled so badly when you opened it up you'd gag. Then we made a little pile in a corner that can't be seen until the week ended, but flies were making an entire continent on our porch, so we really needed a solution. I was skeptical that this wouldn't actually take the smell away but you can't knock it till you try it. Boy oh boy was I pleasantly surprised! The fly population was significantly reduced and there is no smell when you open it to add another bag, even after a few weeks!

We were using a metal garbage can for collecting our poop bags, and the smell was attracting tons of flies into our small yard, making it almost impossible to sit outside. I researched various pet waste stations that claimed to cut down on odor and settled on this one. It really does work! You mostly only smell the waste when you open the lid, and it has cut our fly population down to almost none. We empty our can on garbage day, so this can handle the waste of three dogs for a week without making the whole back yard smelly. Amazing! Also love the convenient poop bags located right in the roof of the bin. Great product!

It blows my mind how this has positive reviews. Let's break down the MULTIPLE issues with this product. One, the lid does not stay open, slams close instantly. This requires user to constantly touch a poop infested bucket. Two, the basket is such a terrible idea to use mesh. Its not even a smooth mesh so if you're pulling out a heavy bag of dog poop, if you're not pulling slowly it WILL catch on the mesh holes ripping the bag. Third, the charcoal filter is absolutely trash. Within months it rusted and continually would fall into the waste bin. Honestly, this is an extremely overly priced 5 gallon bucket from home stores. Spend the $7 at a home store and save the rest of your money

This has been the most helpful system for our two dogs. 1) there is a filter in top-no smell. 2) convenient and we leave it right under the porch and don’t even notice it. Bags are great size and they are right on top in their own compartment. 3) easy to move, use and we just love love it. Best investment in a clean yard, accessible bags, and no odor !
