Great bag
I bought this as a size upgrade from my Wolfman Blackhawk on my '08 KLR 650. So far I've been very happy with it. Typical (excellent) Wolfman construction and design, not too big for the KLR (at least for me), stays put, and holds whatever I seem to need. I also like that it's expandable (that zipper runs 3/4 of the way around the tankbag, so the expansion pivots at the front, which stays the same height). I haven't used the side pockets much yet, and might take them off until I need them, but that is a nice option. I haven't tried the KLR specific mounting straps, finding that with a little ingenuity I could use the standard mounting system OK. The only modification I've made is to add a layer of clear paint protector plastic on the tank; with all the dust in the summer I didn't want to take a chance on it acting like a rubbing compound.

Rainier bag big improvement for BMW R1200 GS Adventure travel.
The bag is very handy, fits my BMW R1200GS Adventure very well and very solid mounting which keeps the bag in place without much movement. The size seems to be perfect for most items I would need to get to including camera equipment, maps, snacks and just about anything else you want to reach without getting off the bike. So far, the quality seems to be very good. One thing I do not understand is why a rain cover does not come standard equipment and part of the bag, instead of an accessory which you have to buy separately? Clearly the bag is not waterproof as is, so the rain cover is a must. I did pick one up for an additional $20, but should have been included with the bag as standard equipment. I do wish the bag had a designed pass-through so I could run a power cord into the bag and charge phones and other accessories. Since the bag is not waterproof, I do not see what harm a designed slot would be for this purpose near the front of the bag along the lower seam. I am going to take my bike and my Rainier bag on a 7K mile trip in about a month, so will have more comments following the trip and really working out the bugs.

Wolfman does BMW
Great tank bag! It fits my BMW G650 GS perfectly and looks great. The 4 point harness is exactly what the odd duck shaped BMW tanks need. Unfortunately I had already wasted $$$ on a Motocentric tank bag with a 3 point harness which slid around and could be dangerous and impair steering. Don't even think twice about paying over $400 for a BMW specific tank bag. Buy this one and that $250 you save will buy a lot of gas. For the same price this is also superior to the Fandango tank bag. Same price but the Wolfman has lots of useful pockets and mapcase. The Fandango is basic and only 10L capacity the Wolfman will expand to 19L. A smaller version Wolfman version is available that is 14L and will undercut a Fandango 10L by $35.

Works great
It works great, perfectly fits my bike, it has a lot and I mean a lot of space, very practical to use daily, it's not waterproof so no 5 stars, it keeps the stuff dry on light rain, but heavy in rain, buy the waterproof cover if you drive in rainy weather a lot.

Great Tank Bag - Excellent Materials, Stitching, Design, Easy & Secure Installation
I ordered this tank bag for my BMW R1200GS prior to departing on a 2,200 mile bike trip. It was easy to install and worked flawlessly. The clips make it quick and easy to release during fuel stops or for complete removal. I would have appreciated some straps for converting the bag to a backpack for easier transport, but that's its only shortcoming.

Poorly designed mounting system.
The no doubt it's a quality bag that will probably last longer than the bike. But the mounting system is absolutely horrendous. No matter how much you cinch the straps this this moves all over the place. Unfortunate for such and expensive bag. I've had bags half the price that mount more securely than this. The problem is the soft bottom where the mounting straps attach. But since I like the bag itself, I'm going to keep it and try to attach a peice of plastic or even some kydex on the inside bottom where it needs to be. So keeps this in mind if your considering this bag. Unless you don't mind a floppy bag.

Fantastic tank bag!
Awesome tank bag! Have mine on a KLR 650, and the clear map sleeve is great for off-road riding. Plenty of space, currently have a 17oz can of chain wax, a pint of oil, two battery packs, and a couple other odds and ends. That's without the expansion zipper opened!
