Restored a rusty burnt Bosch microwave
Did the job on a rusty burnt microwave. Restored to like new. Would advise spraying outside or by an open window or door and wearing a mask. Able to use after 24 hours. Sprayed multiple fine layers.

Microwave paint
Good quality paint it is a bit thin so thin coats works better drying time is very good and durable spreads well and when cured leaves a good finish just remember to pre the surface well before applying for the best results

Very Happy!
I had been looking for a long time for paint suitable for interior of microwave. My microwave is not old and I am very happy with it but it had a few rust patches inside, this was the only product I could find and although a little expensive it is well worth it! I followed instructions carefully and it has done a perfect job! And still about half the can left, so I am very pleased.

microwave restoration project
I got this microwave for £10 when I collected a second hand freezer on ebay. The landlord who sold it to me said that his tenants had taken to boiling their water in it and hence the terrible rust. i imagined I wold be able to find a few paint options but this one was the only paint for the inside of microwaves so i bit the bullet and begrugenly spent over double what the microwave cost me on the small can of paint. i spent a couple of hours going at the rust with a Dremel and afterwards hoovered it out and then wiped the inside down with some paint thinners on a rag to remove the rust. I applied the paint outside in a number of thin coats to get a good key and warmed the area with a hair dryer between to keep help speed the process along. i used most of the can on this project but it went further than i thought. in some areas the paint is incredibly thick as i was using it to build up thickness. once finished i left to dry outside and then brought it into the house and left the door open on the microwave to fully harden over two days before using it. Im very happy with the outcome. the colours great, coverage is great, its a little tricky to spray in the confined space of the microwave. its been a8 weeks now of use and its looting perfect. dont worry about the reviews regarding the paint not setting, this was likely due to thickness of cotes without curing in between, be patient and make sure you give the can a good shape between coats and i think you will be fine.

Not too bas not great eaithwr
It did the job but compared to other spray i had its beeen half good in terms of cover and half good in terms of efficiency seems there wss not large amount of paint at all.

It actually works!
I've got to say I was pretty skeptical when reading the reviews but I couldn't bare to throw away a perfectly functional microwave. Like the other reviews have said as long as you take your time, scrape off all the flakey paint and sand it to feather the edges. Then take your time to apply thin layers with a light spray so it doesn't run, let it dry and then keep going with light layers. By the time I was finished it honestly looked brand new! A year on and it's still going strong! I'll probably just do the same again if it starts to come. Colour is nice bright white, dries quickly and sprays well as long as you give it a good shake!
