I used these for a Sunday School lesson on hidden treasures. I encased them in a baking soda bomb that the kids set off in vinegar and then the kids dropped the capsules in the hot water to find their treasures. They loved it!

Product as expected for price and product in general. Disappointed with time it takes for sponges to “grow” from the capsule and sponge quality once fully expanded. 3 year old usually destroys the shape (boat, plane etc) fairly quickly once magic is complete. One time use as a bath toy.

Such a fun, good quality "craft". The kids love these little capsules. Lots of different colors that they love. It's a great value. The sponges are soft and a nice size for tiny hands.

Who else remembers doing this as a kid? I was super excited when my daughter decided to spend her tooth fairy money on these. It was a fun trip down memory lane and it was nice to see her playing with these like I did when I was a kid. These work just like they did back in the day. You drop them into a cup of hot water hot or warm water, wait for the capsules to dissolve and watch them unfold into the animal shapes. Lots of fun and entertainment.

Disappointed because when I saw 12 count in the title, that normally means 12 individual/separate items. But it is only actually 1 card with the capsules on it. The correct title should be 1 count. Having 12 count in the title is misleading. Selling 1 card with the capsules on it for almost $5 is a rip-off. If you're looking for 12 cards, make sure to double check the description and also the comments to see how many cards it actually has since there are so different sellers. I purchased it thinking I was getting 12 cards, because it was meant to be party favors. Colossal disappointment since only received a measly 1 item.

These were fun and something different!! My kids are 6 and 3 they played safely with them while supervised in the tub. I would not allow my 3 year old to play with these unsupervised because they are tiny, lightweight sponges that would definitely be dangerous if they went in a mouth. They need to be removed from the tub b4 drained because they will go down. I’m going to purchase again but instead of a bath toy I’m going to use them as a water table activity. Easy, Fun, Worth It!
