The fit was just perfect. Snug enough to keep is secure and safe while not so snug it’s difficult to remove or insert.What was a nice surprise was when you insert or remove the knife from this, it gives it a gentle little polish just due to the perfect fit and removes any watermarks from the surface.The strap and clasp hasn’t shown any fault after a couple months of constant use (almost daily).

I've bought knives after reading these reviews on amazon where everybody is saying how good the knife is or sharp this knife is,ordered it and wondered if I had the same knife as them!I use my knives quite often and although I'm no chef I do know what a decent blade looks and feels like. This is a great value blade,its got a good line to it,is extremely sharp and is surprisingly easy to use. It's great chopping vegetables and because of the width of the blade you can use your fingers as a guide whilst chopping. I also bought the leather sheath for this which is a good idea as you dont want the edge to be exposed. The only thing I'm not keen on is the handle as it's a bit short,if you have larger hands it's not the best to hold but I think its designed that way so that you have a finger holding the blade. All in all this cleaver is a no brainer at this price and if I had to buy another its be another one of these

It is a bit big for the knife I have but it is the best I have been able to find and it is worth the money.

Almost perfect, only issue I had was when knife in sheath 5mm of the blades heel is still exposed and possible for accidental cuts. But that's it, materials excellent, well crafted so should last in all 99/100

This sheath is neither heavy duty or leather as clearly stated in the description - very disappointing

I had long hankered after a Chinese style cooking knife and eventually chose this one. Having been using it for a while now, I am extremely pleased with it and it would recommend it to anyone wanting a similar knife. I give it a weekly sharpen on the whetstone and it's a joy to use.

It's made of that smelly soft plastic that all sorts of cheap sleeves are, it's not actual leather. You know the type of thing, holding cheap sunglasses and giveaway pens. A sharp knife will happily sail through it so be very careful. Having said that it's better than nothing and I haven't found an alternative.

The product mostly does what it says it will but it’s lying about being leather, it’s some plastic backed PU foam from the look of it. Reeked of plastic for the first few days.Dimensions are also off, it states 8.3 inches but it measures 8 inches flat which means my knife at just under 8 inches has about a quarter inch of the heel sticking out from the sheath.It’ll do that job if you have nothing else but if you were looking for a quality real leather sheath, keep looking

Habe noch nie so Hauchdünn schneiden können und für meinem Privathaushalt reicht das alle mal.

Die Nähte der Messerscheide sind direkt beim ersten Mal gerissen. Und die Maße die angegeben sind stimmen nicht überein, denn mein Messer liegt noch unter den Maßen, passt aber nicht komplett rein..

Weder ist es Leder, sondern nur billiges Kunstleder, noch ist es innen mit Filz bezogen. Wir werden es zurück geben.
