Most of the books on Candomblé are written in Portuguese. This is an informative book for those wanting to understand the Candomblé tradition in Brazil. This book gives a lot of details and insight into the practices and procedures of the Candomblé Terreiros, which up until a few years ago has always been very private. There is a website that seeks to give an understanding this tradition to the American public: [...] Big thanks to the author for writing this book. A `must have' book for the serious seeker.
