I am not going to use this review to talk about the benefits of taking a BCAA supplement because chances are you already know about that and if not there are plenty of more qualified individuals out there to give you all the information you could need. Instead I will keep it to talking about Scivation's offering specifically. So let's start by looking at the nutritional facts. Included in each serving is huge 7g of BCAAs in the known most effective proportion of 2:1:1 of the key aminos. This is achieved by not including a lot of fillers and only including the essential things with known benefits to training such as 2.5g if Glutamine and 1g of Citrulline Malate. Now lets talk a little about the flavour. I have personally tried about half of the offered flavours in the past 9 or 10 months and haven't had any terrible experience. The best flavour so far in my opinion was the Watermelon and the worst the Strawberry and Kiwi which I found to be overly sweet for my palette but not unbearably so. Did I see any difference while using this product? The short answer is Yes! I definitely saw my recovery time reduced and as I am using this intra-workout I am seeing the benefits of increased longevity and small strength increases too. I would also say that I have seen size gains too but how much this can be attributed to the use of this supplement alone is certainly debatable. To conclude my overall opinion of this product is highly positive and I do recommend it to friends. If you are reading this review trying to decide whether to try Scivation Xtend BCAAs I would say go for it.

It tastes great, although I only use half a scoop per pint of water or I do find it to taste too strong (I get the strawberry kiwi flavour). I do feel as though it works, too! I feel positive effects of the BCAAs and the added B vitamins. It’s pretty expensive for how much you get, but I love it and it’s effective so I will continue to purchase.

Taste good, aids recovery alot better than previous bcaa I have taken

I hit the gym 4 days a week for about an hour and a half each time. This recovery mix has helped immensely with my ability to not feel like I have been hit by a truck when I come to the end of the day. The flavour is also one that I can bear and is not too sweet - has a bit a tart to offset the sweet. If you lift and also have a full-time job I would highly recommend you add a BCAA recovery drink into the mix. You will not be unhappy with the results.

It might work for you, but having tried some different products, this one is meh. I won't be buying this again. Update: After multiple uses, I confirmed that this particular product gives me an insta sore throat. I must be sensitive to one of the components. This also happens to me with some lemonades and coloured drinks, so it's likely one of the colourants or sweeteners. Again, it's most likely just fine for most people, just not for me.
