FEPITO 300 Sheets Imitation Gold Leaf, Rose Gold Leaf, Silver Leaf for DIY Crafting Decoration Arts Project (14x14cm)

I'd bought a chrome spray to upgrade my rather boring pine mirror frame, but it came out very grey, so I thought I'd try these. It was well packaged. The leaves are very fine, but gently easing them on to the surface using a flat ended paint brush, and then gently brushing them down worked very well. Having smoothed the surface gently, I then left it overnight before polishing it off. If spots are missed, it is easy to fill them in using flakes that have broken off. I keep the little flakes in a jar. I used the silver, but the gold and rose gold look exceptional too. Can't wait to find something to use them on.

When you open the packet seems thick - each piece is interleaved with tissue. I suggest you plan room the start where/how you are going to store the stacks - vertically on top of each other, or in horizontally ,once opened they can slide. When you are working have a piece of paper underneath so you can capture all the little fragments, and use them. I bought the foils as an experiment to decorate salt dough Christmas decorations - putting thin layer of PVA on the dough, and putting foil over, letting it dry, then rubbing back to remove the surplus. Looks best with 2 colours. Not attempting to cover whole surface. With some dabbed on foil scraps to good effect. very 'clingy' a damp finger, or, I have a fine probe helpful. soft cloth to rub at end. I'm pleased with the effect- decorations for next year, and will be sold for charity. Meanwhile, my occupational therapy! Plenty of sheets, and it goes reasonably far. Prefer the 'copper colour best - it is called 'rose gold' in the description. I think a fair price for what you get. Have just finished finishing off with a good polish a plaque with lots of tiny grooves - looks really good and splendidly shiny. Well worth doing, and it wasn't much effort - but left the PVA to dry for some time before 'attacking it 'with a soft cloth!

I use these sheets in my art work and craft projects. Real gold and silver leaf is very expensive and unless you are guilding at a very high standard these sheets are first rate and very good value. Dr.P

Having previously bought some gold leaf (100 for £6) elsewhere I was excited to try this as it is 100 of 3 different colours for a similar price. Having used both the gold and silver on a canvas today I can say that the quality is good and I am very impressed! I would not buy from anywhere else in future given the great cost AND quality

First time using imitation gold leaf but was easy to use with the wax paper separating each sheet. I have used gold acrylic paint before but the imitation gold leaf has a true gold look, unlike the paint which can look muted.

They are beautiful to use in slime and quite metallic but the only down side is it is really hard to get the foil of the paper and when you do get it of it is even harder to pick up without ripping apart form that it is amazing

Op een paar ondergronden uitgeprobeert en met héél voorzichtig te werken krijg je een mooi resultaat, wel daarna met een epoxy-lak afwerken.

Feuilles faciles à employer et au rendu brillant. Le feutre entre chaque feuille rend l'utilisation aisée car en étant délicat on peut déposer la feuille entière ou la morceler, dans les deux cas le résultat est sympa.
