I wish it was magnetic

Works great and convenient

Just wished it had small screws that are attached or stay with the case instead of having to carry around a separate tool (allen key / L-shaped hex tool). I keep the allen key in my cue case so not really a big deal, but it is very tiny so it could easily be lost.

I find this product is awesome as the title exclaims less mess when I need my chalk I can take it out of my pocket open the container chalk close the cube and place back in pocket. This containment cube is super helpful in reducing theft of chalk at the pool hall or bar as it takes up little space in your pocket. Previous statements made I don’t know if it’s just the cube I got or the design to fit exact chalk cubes but the set screws protrude outside the cube not a real big deal for me but if you are looking for the aesthetics of flush set screws I hope you have luck with your order. I’m content with this product and hope it lasts me several years.

Love this item because I always conceal carry and my shirt is not tucked in so I always was getting chalk on shirts... this is great pop lid on toss on pocket and no issue... only down side is the set screws back out and chalk comes loose... going to try adding cotton thread on screw to make it tighter and hold locktight is over kill... not a complete fail but a bigger set screw would of fixed the issue... also a bit pricey for the actual quality of the item...

I had refused to put chalk in my pool cue case because the chalk always left a lot of residue in the pocket of my case, especially when it breaks apart. I will never be able to remove all the blue color. I don't like to use pocket chalkers either because I don't wear my shirt tucked in so it gets on my clothes. This holder solves my problems. The chalk is completely covered in the case. The lid stays on in the case and in my pocket but is easy to remove when you need it. I use Predator chalk but the included flat screws hold the odd shape very securely. I love it even though it is fairly expensive. I have already bought another one. Don't let the magnetic wording in the description fool you though. It references some very small magnets that are only used to hold the lid on. The whole thing is not magnetic so you can't use it with some of the magnetic pocket clips. My actual pants pocket is more secure anyway. The new Kamui Roku chalk is too big and will not fit in it. The holder was more important to me so I gave away the chalk and continue to use Predator chalk.

Con: The neodymium magnets were too deeply recessed into their drilled holes to have any direct contact with the metal, resulting in no effective magnetic force holding the two sides together.Pro: recessed set screw for retention of the chalk is a good idea that functions well. Just don't lose the little Allen key.

Keeps the chalk secure in the bottom half. Top comes off easy, but also stays on until you are ready to use. I love this product
