Manual de gramática (World Languages) 5th Edition

Having studied several different Spanish grammars, I would put this one at the top of the list alongside the grammar by Butt and Benjamin. But whereas the latter is primarily a reference, this one is both a reference and a text book with drills and exercises. The thoughtful organization and the thoroughness of the book make it a pleasure to use.My one complaint is that the answers to the exercises aren't in the book nor are they printed. You must search for them online, a very awkward and frustrating task. You are finally rewarded with a PDF file that you can download but, you will curse the publishers for not making this easy or, better yet, simply providing the answers in a small booklet.

This book is very educative and easy to follow. Used it for a class but will keep it for future reference.

The rental I got was brand new and a great deal compared to buying used or new. Cheaper and easier even than buying used and then reselling. Can't think of anything negative about this deal.

Useful for my Spanish class. Bought used in great condition & rental was very easy to do! Somewhat redundant and dense for a semester's worth of study, though. Still very helpful for advanced Spanish learners.

The most well-written Spanish grammar text book I have ever used. I only rented this text, but I wish I had bought it.

Unlike the review by Triassic, I have NOT been able to find a PDF of the answers, despite contacting all the resources listed inside the book and it's been enormously frustrating. Would not recommend at all for that reason (after all, we're learners, not grammar experts, I need the answers!). I wish I could contact Triassic directly so they could email it to me!
