After auto bleem, the best thing I have gotten for my PS mini
Ok, so you pretty much have to get some wireless controllers for the mini classic. The included controllers are exquisite quality and this does not meet that standard, but it is pretty dang good for the price. It connects very easily to the ps mini, just plug in the dongle and turn on the controller. It also works flawlessly on a raspberry pi 3b. So flawlessly, in fact, the pi lists is as a Sony interactive controller. So this thing is a lot of answers for me. My standard benchmark for controllers is Symphony of the Night. Particularly, the soul steal spell. It's a pretty complex d-pad input. I can pull it off with this controller, but its tough. By comparison, I can cast it nearly every time with the controllers that came in the box with the mini and I can almost never make it work on a psp. Also, the shoulder buttons are a little small, but manageable, and early on I found myself hitting the power button when I had meant to hit the start button but that passed in a few minutes. I'd like to add: there are a few d-pad moves involved in symphony of the night and I can pull them all off flawlessly with this controller, but soul steal is tough. The d pad seems to be a single piece on a rocker, and that's good, as some controllers have 4 seperate buttons making it possible to do things like press up and down at the same time and cause occasional glitches and freezes. The dongle is a beast! I know for some people this alone is a deal breaker. Turbo is perfect. Easy to activate on the fly and for me turbo controllers have always been a must. Anyway, I like this thing. The best thing for the ps mini since auto bleem! And it works on raspberry pi too!

Awesome Controller!
I bought this controller for my Playstation Classic because I only had one controller for it since i bought the PSC from someone else rather than new. I originally thought this controller was going to suck and the battery was going to be an issue but boy was I wrong. This controller turned out to be a freaking beast. My friend and I agree that this controller is better than the ones that came with the PSC originally. I just recently bought another one of these to have two. The battery life is amazing. My friend and I have played more than 8 hours and the battery kept going the next day. I have just only charged my first controller once since the day I got it. So far I've only used these controllers my PSC but i am sure they work for PC just fine.Only thing I would think people would say is a con is the cheap feel and light weight. Some prefer the controller to weigh a bit on the hand but I say it feels fine and the buttons feel awesome. Also, I was comparing the JoyRetro controller to the Yok controller and I say go with the JoyRetro. I got two Yok controllers from Gamestop for 2 bucks each and they SUCK! I mean suck big time. No only do they use batteries to power on, but the signal gets lost plenty. The Yok controller is going to disconnect constantly and not only that but the d-pad feels bad on the Yok. Buy this JoyRetro one instead. Its worth the money!

Edit: After 45 days, had to reset it
Edit: I thought it was dead forever but I took out the screws. I notice the back panel had the word "reset" and a small hole so i pushed the button on the circuit board (you can probably poke down in the hole on the back with a toothpick without taking it apart) and the controller is working again! I'm so happy. :)(It was working great at first. It was lightweight but I got use to it and loved it. I wish the usb receiver was smaller as it is inconvenient to be so chunky. After about 45 days of using it, it just randomly stops pairing and charging. I'm sad because I was hoping to come back and write a review on how much I loved it.)

Cheap. Works. And has the buttons you need for the Gamebox and True Blue Mini sticks. Very happy.
Works great. Feels good. Lasts a very long time. And has the buttons needed for menus, etc. Especially useful if you're using a Gamebox stick or any of the True Blue Mini's. Can't beat the price. Only gripe is no analog or rumble. But that's a PS mini problem. Not the controller. Highly recommend.Update as of 4/10/20Still haven't had to recharge controller yet and it's been used around 10 hours so far. Still working great. Buying a ps4 controller and an 8 bit do adaptor at $10 for my classic but not because of this controller. More for my PS TV. The menu and few extra buttons alone are more than worth the price. And to make everything soo much sweeter they lowered the price to $9. I was going to buy a 2nd controller/back up anyway. But at $9 I'm going to just buy 2. Haven't noticed the controller power off problem everyone is talking about. Most likely because I have to unplug the entire system anyway every single time to run and not short out my GameBox's (yes there are 2 now) and my TrueBlue mini's. Still highly recommend it. Especially for any GameBox/True Blue Mini gamers out there. 👍👍

Looks and feels like the original wired controller. Overly bright red led.
Looks and feels like the original wired controller. Signal is good. I usually sit 10 feet away from my tv and this controller connects fine to the receiver. Battery is lasting a long time. The buttons are responsive enough but they are not as responsive as the wired controller which is exactly what I expected. The annoying part - red led light stays on all the time even when PS Classic is turned off. The led is extremely bright - much brighter then the led on PCS itself. Because of this, I have to unplug it when finish playing. Kind of annoying to have to do this every time. I guess I could tape over the led to block that obnoxious red light. The weird part - Something is moving inside the controller when I shake it. Not sure if this will be a problem later on.*Update* Turn out the moving part inside the controller was the battery. The double sided tape was not sticking to the rear cover. Replaced the tape and firmly pressed onto the rear panel fixed this.

Amazing addition to my PS Classic!!
I love this wireless remote!! Not only works flawlessly on my PC but also on my PS Classic (which is what I bought it for!!). No brainner - plug it in and GO!! Amazing quality too - very impressed. Will be ordering a second one to complete my set shortly!! I highly recommend this product with a 5-Star rating, and suggest you get 2 controllers if you intend to play 2-player games. More than worth the investment!!

This controller works great on my ps classic the only thing I don’t like is the flashing red light on the USB stick that plugs into the machine other than that it’s awesome
