Pricy but good
I got these 1.5mm pads to re-pad a FE 3080 Ti. Hopefully this review shows up on all pad thicknesses as I originally purchased 2mm pads based online guides and videos. I got my card March 26 2022, it seems the heatsink has changed, see another review with the same hypothesis. The core was not making much contact to the heatsink with 2mm pads, memory temps were amazing but the core was thermal throttling at the desktop. I had used a manual spread method for the paste and only the very center about a dime size had made any contact. I ordered the 1.5mm pads and now I have memory temps about 15-20c cooler and the core peaks at 70c under full load. I used 3mm pads on the back but 2mm might work as I can see a bit of bulge on the backplate, I used a 1mm pad on the NVDD on the back as it seemed the stock super thin pad wasn’t making much contact after adding the 3mm pads. I had some trouble with a couple of the pads not wanting to stick, however most held in place, it seemed to be related to the material it was on, RAM and PCB had no issues, the NVDD didn’t stick very well, it was just a minor inconvenience though. I wish these pads were a bit cheaper especially considering I wasted money and time with the 2mm pads. At least they are cheaper than fujipoly pads

Excellent Thermal Pads!
I had to replace the thermal pads in my GeForce RTX 3080Ti GPU. These pads have excellent cooling capacity. The quality and adhesive quality are superb. The pads are easy to cut. After putting the pads in place on my GPU, I installed the GPU into my computer and noticed the temperature go down from what it had been before. When playing intensive video games, the range I am seeing is between ~82 - 83 degrees Celsius which is withing tolerance specs for a 3080TI graphics card.

Buyer Beware 3080 FE pad guide
If your RTX3080 FE GPU is made before 2021 it will use the old style pad thickness. 2mm on the side with the GPU Die (Front). And on the back plate side it will use the 3mm pads. (Date is printed on backside of the cooler, mine says some day in 2020) Now if your 3080 GPU is made in 2021 and beyond, keep in mind they redisgned the GPU cooler ever so slightly that it needs 1.5mm pads on the front. And 2mm pads on the back It makes a big difference. Don't waste money like I did and buy the right pads right away. Also the pads are not exactly 80x40 as advertised. They are 79x39! But still gets the job done. Maybe my ruler is to blame...but I doubt it. If you're buying a card from a miner and want to repad, check to see if it was already done, and if so just repaste the die and reassemble to see if that gives you a benefit. Chances are you won't need to repad again at all. Hope this helps someone struggling to find this information.

Cooled the NVME drive to my Mini PC!!!
My original intention to use this product with my NVME drive with my Mini PC. My Mini-PC does not have a secondary fan to cool, so the mfr leverage using thick thermal pads and use the metal bottom plate to act as a heatsink. Since thermal pad is about 4mm thick (I thought it was 3mm), I had to buy both 3mm and 1mm pads (I wished I bought 2 2mm pads) and sandwich them between the NVME and the bottom plate. After testing with CrystalDiskMark 8 with 32Gib test, I was able to reduce my max temps by 13 degrees. Previously, my Gold P31 was having max temp of 77c. After using this, it cooled to 64c degrees (nvme operating temp up to 70c). Only time will tell if this product can be used long term. I will update if the pads got worse over time. Cons: Product is very malleable. My last experience with a different mfr thermal paste was akin to rubber pad. Make sure to have a cutting board and xacto knife to work with. This is not a product to use with your hands/fingers. It also compresses easily, so do not let the product get smashed. It's like it's made 1 step just before becoming putty itself.

Great thermal pad
My Dell gaming laptop seemed incapable of dealing with the the heat generated while gaming so I figured I would get this to replace the pads it came with. Turns out the manufacturer left on the plastic film over the original thermal pads preventing it from having solid contact between the chips and the heat sink. I still replaced them all with the gelid and it has been working great since. It was a bit fiddly cutting the pad and getting them in place, but with a little patience it went without a hitch. I would suggest ordering one more pad than you think you'll need.

Mehrere Pads wurden für die Front-/Backplate einer 3090 FE verwendet. Aufgrund der weichen Mischung wird der sonst empfindliche Anpressdruck der Kühler auf die GPU DIE nicht beeinflusst. Die GELID Pads werden aus diesem Grund empfohlen. Die maximal zu erwartende Wärmeübertragung wurde erreicht, die Temperaturen sind seit 4 Wochen konstant und die DIE Temperatur sowie Hotspot Delta sind ebenfalls konstant geblieben und gerade letzteres ist oft das KO Kriterium für andere Pads. Einige Reste habe ich für die Außenseite der GPU Backplate verwendet und ich war überrascht wie gut die Pads an der Backplate und an den nur draufgelegten Kühlern haftet - ohne dabei Spuren zu hinterlassen. Durch die hohe Nachfrage hat sich der Preis natürlich geändert, das ist natürlich unglücklich, aber kaum zu ändern.

This is a very bad thermalpad, very far from the 12 that it states it conducts. To be honest, just get something else, the performance SUCKS, i deeply regret it.

La "GELID" mantiene le promesse sia da loro specifiche tecniche, sia da recensioni lette su mensili di Personal Computers, sia dal risultato personale, laddove, ho "tagliato" a metà sul lato lungo 80mm il "pad" della GELID, per ottenere 2 pads lunghi 80mm e larghi 20mm, che poi ho posto a "Sandwitch" su un disco SSD M.2 della Crucial, acquistato qui su Amazon, ed inserito in un altrettanto "OTTIMO" dissipatore passivo della JEYI, anche acquistato qui su Amazon. Il risultato è stato veramente ottimo, laddove, dagli originali 61°C esibiti dal detto SSD M.2 NVMe in condizioni di riposo dopo stabilizzazione della temperatura, il detto è passato a soli 49-50°C inserito nel detto Dissipatore JEYI, accoppiato "sopra e sotto" dai "Pads Extreme" della GELID. Ho ordinato sempre qui su Amazon la versione "Ultimate" sempre della GELID, la quale secondo sia le specifiche del produttore, sia le recensioni dei Mensili di Personal Computer, dovrebbe abbassare ancora di circa 1°C la temperatura dell'elemento raffreddato, avendo ancora migliore conduzione termica pari a 15 W/mK, invece che 12 W/mK (Watt su Metro Kelvin) tipici della versione "Extreme". Mio debito specificare che il dissipatore Statico della JEYI, è racchiuso in un "Micro-PC" della HP, laddove, a movimentare l'aria, esiste solo la ventola fissata direttamente sul potente Intel i7-10700T, e quindi, si dovesse impiegare una ventola addizionale trovabile qui su Amazon, i risultati diverrebbero ancora miglioro. Ancora mi è debito il precisare, che detta modifica, NON è assolutamente intervento per "tutti", in quanto, il materiale è "esile", "altamente deformabile", ed "appiccicoso", e pertanto, necessita di "mano ferma", e "Pazienza"! Sono un vetusto tecnico ingegnere del ramo, che recensisce solamente in maniera molto tecnica tutto quanto acquisto senza sponsorizzazioni. Ho messo solo 4 stelle, in quanto, solo la "Perfezione" ne merita 5. Mi auguro questa mia recensione tecnica, Vi sia di buon aiuto, e Vi terrò informati sul risultato che otterrò con la versione "Ultimate" dei "Pads" della GELID. Ing. RDB.
