The handle is made from lighter, more brittle plastic than the original manufacturer’s handle. Installation is not terribly hard, but the fit was not perfect without a slight modification. The handle failed approximately 23 months after installation, under normal use. The original handle lasted 16 years.

Worked well but it was slightly different in shape

I was looking for a replacement handle for my GE Spacemaker XL1800 (Model JVM1851BF001). This is supposed to be part WB15X10065, which this handle says it replaces. It did not fit out of the box. I had to use a Dremel to modify this part to make it fit. Take a look at the attached picture. The parts marked in red had to be removed and the parts marked in yellow had to be shaved down since they were too deep.

Fit perfect!

AVOID! SAVE YOUR MONEY!As other reviewers have noted, this is not a direct replacement for the part numbers it references. However, with some basic tools to cut, grind, or sand down the raised plastic pieces that interfere with the connection to the door, it is reasonably easy to modify. The real bummer is that the plastic itself is some of the weakest, lowest grade stuff you can get. This is not a $20-$30 part. My kids have cheap toys made of better stuff. The handle doesn't feel like a quality product the day you get it and, in my case, appearances proved to be true when it broke off at the screw connection less than nine months after I installed it.The distributor knows they are selling a shoddy product and won't stand behind it. Seneca River claims they only provide a 90 day warranty on this rubbish.

As stated in another review, modifications were needed to make this part (WB15X10065) work. This was listed as the part which would work for my GE microwave (Model: JVM1860SD001) but two alignment tabs needed to be ground down for the handle to sit flush. I had anticipated this due to the previous review and I performed this with a file in about 10mins. The part is definitely an after-market part. It is not as robust as the original. Overall, I am satisfied since the part works and the seller shipped quickly.

Piece of garbage. Very low quality. Do not buy. My part looked like it had been pried apart and put back together again. Scratches along all of the seams. And yes, you will have to cut or shave the product down to get it to fit a GE Spacemaker microwave.

It would be zero. I have bought two of these and they both broke within a week. Don't say it fits When it doesn't. Don't waste your money
