I have several antennas in my radio station, and needed to add discharge units at the point where they come into my station. I really don't like the term 'lightning arrestor', as these would do very little in the event of a direct lightning strike, but they will help protect your equipment from surges caused by nearby strikes. These connectors can mount to a metal plate (your well-grounded 'bulkhead) or be connected via provided crimp terminal to a proper grounded wire. The theory is the 'gas discharge element' will look like a short-circuit to the lightning's activity, and short the center conductor to the grounded shield, while still not interfering with the normal radio signals. This looks like it will fit my needs, and I've measured < .1dB insertion loss (less than my test equipment could measure) at 430MHz. These fit N-connectors--be sure your equipment uses these type of connectors before ordering.
