Cat urine BEWARE!
I purchased this for the express purpose of removing cat urine stain/odor from a VERY expensive leather jacket. The process had multiple steps and required serious committment, BUT it WORKED. So I am praising this product and posting the multi-step process here - in case anyone else has a naughty kitty! Follow ALL the steps - I did and the jacket came out looking and smelling brand new!Basically, the sooner you attack this stinky problem, the higher the likelihood the condition, odor, and texture of the leather won’t be permanently damaged.Items You’ll Need to Eliminate the Smell Enzyme Odor Removal Solution Specifically Engineered for Pet Odors (Biokleen Bac-Out!!!) 2 Kitchen Towels (I used cloth baby diapers - new ones) Tupperware Box w/ Lid (The jacket was large so I used a huge zippered bag that a comforter came in) Borax Gallon Sized Ziplock Back (Or Trash Bag for Larger Items) 2-3 Pieces of Activated Charcoal Saddle Soap Tea Tree Oil (I did not need this part, the odor was gone)9 Easy Steps for Removing Cat Urine Smells from Leather (As originally written by Sarah B. on the petluvr website) Moisten a kitchen towel with enzyme odor remove and absorb as much of the cat pee as possible. This eradicates the microbes that causing unpleasant smell. Saturate the affected area with the enzyme cleanser. If you’re using a spray bottle, you might want to take the top off and pour it directly onto the place of the pet’s accident. Saturate another towel with more of your favorite cat urine odor removal product. Place the towel on top of the area and let it sit for 3 hours. If you’re able, place another towel (or wrap part of the other towel) underneath the leather so your getting both sides of the leather. Find a large Tupperware box that’s large enough to place the item in. Pour borax into the box until the borax is 1 inch deep. Place the smelly item into the box and pour additional borax on it so that it’s completely covered. If your try to remove feline or dog urine from a large a couch, car interior, or something else that’s very large, just pour the borax directly on area where the pet peed. Fill one cup of activated charcoal and place it inside a plastic bag (ideally a Ziploc or other airtight bag). After it has soaked in the borax box for 24 hours, place the soiled leather item into the Ziploc along with the charcoal. Now you’ll place the plastic bag back into the box with borax. (So, you’ve got the soiled item inside the plastic bag, and the plastic bag inside the box.) Seal the box with as close to an airtight lid as possible. Let the item sit in the sealed box for 3-5 days. (Allow for a longer time if the urine was initially untreated for longer than a 24 hours.) When you remove the leather item (purse, cushion, jacket, etc.), the cat urine smell should be completely removed. Let the leather naturally air dry to prevent damage or water stains. After it’s dry, use clean the leather with a very generous amount of saddle soap. This will ensure you retain the natural condition of the leather and give the leather a natural scent too. If the leather seems to be dry, you can also try gently massaging a soft cloth that has a few drops tea tree oil on it. **I did not try the tea tree oil - didn't need it) The pungent urine aroma is still there, repeat steps 1-8. Only do this two more times to prevent damaging the leather.Pointers and Warnings Always test a small amount of cleaning products on a small, hidden piece of leather to make sure it doesn’t harm the texture, condition, or color of the leather. To maintain and restore the softness of the leather, try applying very light, unscented baby oil. Do not use ammonia or alcohol-based solutions. Ammonia will only make the smell worse. Alcohol will dry out the leather. (Be careful. Nature’s Miracle Pet Odor Remover contains alcohol.) Avoid cleaning the leather frequently. It can cause the material to crack. Clean it only when its stained or develops strong smell of pet urine. Cat urine is much more concentrated than dog urine. Try to clean cat accidents as soon as possible. If your pet urinated on a leather couch, be sure to check the carpet next to or below it. Getting rid of pet urine odors from a carpet requires different steps.By following the steps outlined above, you should be able to treat, clean, and eliminate pet urine that’s come in contact with most leather items. GOOD LUCK!

NYC Cleaning Co APPROVED!
Let me cut to the chase: This product is amazing.I am a Mom, I own a cleaning service, we have pets, and we have fostered pets. I've seen a lot of interesting smell issues over time. From potty training little people and little pups, to incontinent dogs, hoarder houses, incontinent elderly people, floors that were saturated over long periods of time, sofas completely saturated inside and out. For a long time I struggled to find a system that worked for me, my family, and my ever-changing clients. Carpet/Upholstery cleaners (even commercial grade), spot cleaners, pet-store recommended products, vinegar and baking soda, borax -- nothing really worked. Lots of labor and lots of time, plenty of money on products, and things would always be 'as good as we could expect'. This product: Nature's Miracle Urine Destroyer Formula Stain & Residue Eliminator, 32-Ounce Pour Bottle (P-5727) had become my go to choice. It wasn't perfect, but pretty darn good. Very expensive for the amount you needed to use, though. And I was never comfortable using that much product on upholstery or flooring. Finally a friend came to stay with us with her two small children (one potty training), husband, and incontinent elderly dog. She had worked with animals most of her life, and said she was ordering a product off of Amazon to fix the little accidents that had come with her stay. I was skeptical to say the least. Our first trial was a large puddle that had been let to sit on unfinished wood stairs that'd just been installed. NO staining, no need to use enough product to cause warping, nothing. We used a spray bottle to disperse a few times a day over about 3 days. No smell -- even after the heat of summer came and the humidity rose -- nothing. Outside, I sprayed the product around areas of wood that the dog had favored. That lingering smelly corner you avoid during BBQs? Gone. Next up, a client test: A sofa that had been urinated on by both human and animal, and had been used as a ferret hide-away (read: dear god, this smells awful). I was pretty sure it was a goner. We removed the bottom dust liner, sprayed inside, sprayed all outer surfaces and waited. Immediate difference -- but we followed the stair protocol, spray several times a day for a few days. Miraculous. The couch has still stayed fresh and scent free over a year later. We've had plenty of successes, and this product has become my go-to for any smell, anywhere!

Excellent at getting blood out of white sheets
I will never be without Biokleen Bac-Out Stain & Odor Eliminator. I'd used it on doggie accidents of vomit and poo with great success, but recently Biokleen Bac-Out got a chance to really show me what it can do. I had a family member staying with us and he's on blood-thinners and because of that, the smallest scratch on him results in a lot of blood. The guest bedroom sheets are white. I ended up laundering both the sheets and mattress pad a few times while he was here and there was significant blood on those sheets each time, some of the spots were almost an inch wide, soaked through with blood.Easy breezy, I sprayed Bac-Out on the blood stains and let it sit for 10-15 minutes while I did other things, then threw it in the washer with Tide HE, ran it on hot water with a pre-soak cycle. Those white sheets and that white mattress pad have no trace of stains on them, they look brand new. I didn't have to use bleach at all.How do I know the Tide HE wasn't doing the stain removal? Because the first time I didn't use Bac-Out, I just used Tide HE, and the blood stains were still there - ran the sheets again but sprayed Bac-Out on the stains first and voila, no blood stains. The next two times I did laundry, I made sure to use Bac-Out first. Also works great adding it to the laundry along with the usual detergent. We have a white fabric shower curtain liner that has a pinkish-yellowish tinge to it, presumably from mold - it's a stain I just couldn't get out even after washing it with bleach and detergent on hot water with a pre-soak. So I added 1/4-1/3 cup Bac-Out to the wash along with the usual detergent, ran it on hot water with a pre-soak cycle, and it came out of the wash white again.Highly recommend this stuff.

Best thing ever!Used it so far on baby pees and poos stains on the carpet and it has been amazing. I had a huge poo stain on a grey carpet and it made miracles. It has a nice lemon smell and it very kind with your skin. If you have a little one, you need to have one of this as well. Life saver.
