Best lotion for dry skin . Absorbs very well and no residue as long as is massage . I mainly use it on my legs and feet can't be more pleased. With continued use the results are amazing and effective. You can tell this product is high quality and made with love Fragrance free !

- Clean, pretty creamy, and very, very hydrating. I love it and will buy more - I purchaed the shea butter with no scent added. I imagine it smells akin to pulverized Brazil nuts. Slight nutty scent that dissipates. Do not apply like regular lotion; a little goes far. - There are some tiny nubs. These melt in your hand or on your skin quickly. - This shea butter is the best I've found (been trying different ones for eight or more years) If you're looking for a gift please note: - The canister looked worn out; it wasn't used but there were rubbed scratches on the lid edge. I wonder if the manufacturer got a good deal on containers that were old stock and less perfect (fine with me)? There was no white plastic cover to keep shea butter contained beneath lid for shipping. A little leaked out and made a two-inch oil circle in the box. Maybe if the lids were tighter, no leaking would happen. I'm glad to have less plastic used though. - You could put in a really pretty glass container, if you end up with a container that isn't pretty.

Update 8/20/25: Still using and loving this, The fragrance free version. I just bought two more that were on sale. I use the product website cuz they do run specials that you don't find here. I love the pure Shea butter to moisturize my skin before I go swimming because it's not water soluble and won't gunk up the pool. I also use the 30% Shea butter moisturizer for other times. It absorbs pretty well and it's very moisturizing too. But I won't use it in the pool cuz it tends to dissolve in water. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I love nilotica and East African shea butter. It's actually healed some skin issues. It's naturally soft without having to be whipped or processed like West African shea butter. Over the years I've ordered from multiple companies, and paid less. But when I come back to reorder these products on Amazon, they are no longer available. Ms. Umbel must be doing something right to sustain her business for more than 20 odd years now. And the pure unscented nilotica Shea butter, the only thing I use from this line, is quite good.

I recently tried the shea butter that was handmade by women in an African village. It was 100% pure shea butter from the nut, which is pretty cool. However, I wasn't a huge fan of the peppermint flavor I ended up picking. Next time, I'll probably go for a different scent. It's a really nice product overall, though!

I made dandelion salve with this and it smells incredible! Feels great on the skin, moisturizes very well and melts right into the skin! Love this product!

I am amazed at how smooth and creamy this Ugandan She's Butter is.!! It smells beautiful and natural a clean soft nutty scent . The butter is so clean and packaged wonderfully, I love and appreciate the women of Uganda for introducing me to their she's, I encourage everyone that uses Shea to try Uganda's Butters. When I received my SHEA BUTTER, it appears someone curious person. Couldn't help themselves and stuck their grubby dusty finger in my container after breaking the seal that covers the top on the inside . This is not okay, we paid for our products and Amazon employees are expected to have integrity and honor when working in this field, where's the trust.? I provided a picture of the scoop left behind by this person's dirt finger. Now I have to scoop that area out . This SHEA BUTTER was purchased from a very good company of hard working women, that choose to share their natural products to the world, a secret which they could easily keep to themselves. This type of behavior is very disrespectful, nasty and dishonorable.
