To begin with, the brush is excellent. It is sturdy and lathers up really well. Quite a change from my Gillette 70 Rs brush that I was using since eternity. Unfortunately it turns out that I am allergic to Boar Bristle or something used in this Brush. I thought it was my shampoo that gave me itching but it was the Brush. Tempered it with Washing Soap, Shampoo, Conditioned it with a Conditioner, Cold Pressed Coconut Oil, Vinegar washed it but I just couldn't use it. The chin area got rashes initially ( I changed my blade) and when I tried to lather on my palm, the palm would itch. Then tried to lather on the palms of each member of my family and no one had a problem. So turns out that I am allergic and can't use the Brush. I have now ordered a Rubab synthetic brush because I don't like the splay of the Gillette Brushes and need a strong haired brush.

It's a really natural hair shaving brush of good quality

Soft and dense bristle . Ideal for lather mixing and deep pour in skin hair to give soft shave.

Works great, it did not come with a stand, so had to buy one separately. For first few days it will smell because it is made of animal hair. But it's very soft after soaking in warm water for 10 minutes before each shave. Only the tips should be soaked, not the handle, so it needs some infrastructure to soak. I use it with a shaving soap and the foam is amazing and thick, absolutely luxurious.

Worst product

Liked the softness of the bristles. Disliked the weight of the brush. The seller should mention the weight in the description of the product. Since it is non-returnable product, except,on the ground of damage, giving weight in the description will help customers in taking an informed decision in investing so much in a shaving brush.

I bought this item four years ago and it was working still fine with all its hair intact. However, I considered prudent to replace it with a new one. I am happy to get the same item even after four years albeit at a reasonable higher price.

Though there are few really good wet shaving start ups present in India now . Only Parker ,Pearl and Pinkwoolf make natural bristle shaving brushes .Parker is way too premium ,pearl has got a bad review , pinkwool too has ñot so great review for their boar brush yet . If you refer to the pic ,it comes as a stiff boar bristle brush . But I wanted to take it through 3 days break in before I use it . 1) soak the brush in water with one drop of dishwasher for 10-15mins to get rid of the bad smell. 2) soak the bristles in water and place it in refrigerator for 24 hours , bring it out rub it on towel for 10-15mins . Repeat the process for three days . You get a much softer ,since bristles are broken has split ends. Much like a premium boar brush with in just three days with out even using it for a shave once . It generates good lather in no time ,holds the moisture for three passes easily . Lost only 5-6 bristles during breaking in . Worth the money spent as of now
