Great product for lighter boning needs
What's not to like? If you've used this type of boning before, you know it sews in easily and with a steam iron you can shape it to really work well in some applications (like the curve of a villain's big stand up collar). After years of sewing in casings and then slipping in boning on corsets and bodices, this was a real treat to use. Granted, the old metal corset stays are still great and I'd still use them for heavier applications, but this boning is handy and a real time saver.

Super useful
I’m a Seamstress and buying this roll is so much more practical than buying tiny bit of it from Joann’s every other day. It’s taking me a long time to use it all up but a great investment

Easy to cut. Easy to sew
I’ve bought this several times, which means I use a lot of it and am happy with the product

as good as name brand but better price
Just as good as the name brands at a fraction of the price. I use this for bag handles, and my sewing machine handles it perfectly! The price is great.

Not the best for corsets but very easy to use and xonvenient
We're in love with this boning, I bought it for my mom,she makes wedding dresses and change from regular plastic boning to this and she loves it, the only thing is that for what she does (corsets and so) is a little bit too light and it even says so in the box, the thing is that that is not specified in the description so now I'm looking for the same boning but heavier

Amazing firmness
Really a sturdy product. I use it on the top of fabric baskets and fabric thread catchers. I am impressed by its light but firm quality. I had difficulties trying to find this product in fabric stores or even quilt stores. I make a casing and slip the boning on through. I don't even need to stitch it in place. Really pleased I could get an entire roll that will probably outlast me! Product came quickly and I really appreciated that.

Ok for a lightweight hoop skirt.
Bought for use in a lightweight hoop skirt. If using in a hoop skirt, don't sew in; use bias tape or ribbon as a channel, and make sure to work with the curve of the product from the roll. You can sew with a denim needle on your sewing machine, but it is difficult to sew a straight line and if using for hoops you will need to overlap the seam so it doesn't bend weirdly. Also, you may have to double the length in each hoop, or just put more hoops in your design to be sturdy enough. I used silk skirts on top which is lightweight. Cotton and lightweight linen might be ok too, but don't use this if you're making a hoop skirt to go under layers and layers of satin, wool, or upholstery fabric. Still it is loads cheaper than the retail nylon stuff sold in fabric stores or the sprung steel that is traditional. Makes a very "squishy" hoop skirt, which is nice to get through doorways with.

So many uses
I purchased this because it was a good value then buying by the yard. I used it to line a collapsable thread catcher. Worked great. It was a little tough to sew through it doubled up unless the holes were lined up. But I made 4 more & got the hang of it. I also made a larger thread catcher & it holds the basket open.
