Great Product! Works awesome with LED dimmable bulbs
I have tried a few different dimmers with a few different LED bulb types and manufacturers and this one works the best by far. Being able to adjust the range of dimming really allows you to get the most out of your bulbs. The limitations of dimming with this dimmer is dictated strictly by the bulb you get and nothing else. Most LED bulbs can only get down to 20%, but that will change as the bulb technology gets better. I do have one set of bulbs that I feel like i am getting down to 5-10% and a totally stable (no flickering or random turn offs due to low voltage). I can't comment on commercial products, but for residential dimmers I think these are probably the best bang for your buck even if they are kind of expensive compared to other dimmer you can buy. Why do you ask? Pro's -Very adjustable -Look amazing, expensive, and high tech especially in the dark with the green LEDs. Makes it nice for finding the switch in the dark -In a 3-way location you can dim from both switches (this is not possible with normal 3 way dimmers) -Other cool feature such as a delayed turn off. (If you hold the switch down for a few seconds it will delay turning off the light for like 45 seconds, long enough for you to get out of the room and then turns off automatically. I'm surprised, but I use this feature all the time when I'm going to bed or leaving the house) -Easy to install, and built well just like most Lutron product. Con's - A little more expensive than alternatives, but with the added features, and functionality it's totally worth it in my opinion. If you are the type of person that is borderline OCD about doing things right, just buy these. You won't find anything better as of when I wrote this review.

Easy to install, works great.
Easy to install and operates flawlessly. The dimmer feature is smooth. I replaced two 3way and one 4way switches which controls lights from each doorway to one room. The master controller (maestro) is installed along with the "companion" switches. You don't need a 4way switch in this system. You'll need electrical experience to install properly. There are excellent YouTube videos for installation help. I highly recommend this device.

This is a time tested review 4 years in the making for Lutron MACL-153M
In August of 2015, I changed nearly every incandescent and flourescent light bulb in my house to FEIT LED's which I purchased from Costco. Most of the LED's are 9.5 watt (60 watt incandescent equivalent) of either the 'A' type or 'par 30' type, although there are others. At about the same time, I also purchased the Lutron MACL-153M dimmers (in multiple purchases all from Amazon). I currently have 12 of these dimmers and 3 companions for 3-way switching locations. I am dimming anywhere from one LED up to five depending on the light fixture(s) being controlled by the dimmers. After more than 4 years, I have only great things to say regarding both the dimmers and LED's. First of all, every dimmer is consistent. It doesn't matter how many lights within my range that I'm dimming. There is absolutely no buzzing or flickering anywhere nor are there any lights that won't go all the way off. I've gone through and programmed each of them so that one tap turns them on to approximately the 3rd or 4th (middle) indicating light depending on the room without delay. Two taps is full brightness. I programmed a 5 second delay to off. Even as the LED's are dimming to off, there is no flickering. I've even lowered the low trim from where it is factory set, so that they go almost all the way down with no issues - not quite as low as the old incandescents, but close. I also have them installed in my bathrooms. I know that may sound wierd, but just the thought of waking up in the middle of the night and turning the lights on to full brightness hurts my eyes! I only mention this because of the steam & moisture generated by showers. That was a concern of mine. Still, even these Lutrons are working like champs. We have been through multiple power outages and lightning storms over the course of 4 years and they're all still working great. In closing, besides saving money on energy, the best thing is that I have not had to replace a single light bulb or dimmer in 4 years. I love the features and that they are programmable. All 15 are working the same as when I first installed them. I am totally satisfied with my purchases and would definitely recommend.

Easy solution for multiple dimmers
With traditional mechanical dimmers, it's not practical to use them in multiple locations for three way switches. With traditional three way switches, if you need another location added (i.e. more than two switches), you will need a four way switch. These dimmers are designed for up to 10 locations. However, the included instructions don't go into how to wire them for new locations, or how to replace a four way switch with a companion dimmer. The instructions indicate that a companion dimmer instruction sheet is available, presumably on their website. Installing these is about as easy as for traditional three way switches. But these have a grounding wire that your original switch might not have had. If you don't have a ground wire, you can cap the green wire with an included cap. That's allowable under the electric code because the switch plate has no external screws (i.e. meets "no metal screws" requirement.) The switch plate is also more attractive than a traditional one, and if you need to replace something in a two gang or multi-gang box, the available Lutron plates can make installation a lot easier for that reason and for other reasons too. These dimmer switches are easy to use, turn on or off with a single press, and remember the last setting. Dimming is easy from either switch, but only one switch has a row of green lights showing the percentage dimmed. In my case, that's not a problem for two reasons. I can see the other switch across the room, but more importantly I can tell whether the lights are as bright or dim as I want them. There is also a small slide out piece under each switch to lock things in the off position. When the lights are turned off or on, they either fade off or on. It's relatively quick but there's no sudden change from on to off. With dimmable CFLs I imagine it wouldn't make much difference, but with LEDs it's a nice effect. The dimmable range can be adjusted so there's a threshold for the minimum amount the lights can be dimmed. The only problem I have is that once I installed these, I started hearing a hum from every light fixture. The hum was not there before. But I read reviews of those particular lights and many reviewers commented that they hum. So perhaps it's a fault of the lights, or the lights would do that with any dimmer. I can't really tell but if I were to buy them now, I'd check any negative reviews to see if others have the same problem.

Easy install, looks great, works even better.
These were very easy to install in my dinning room and I'm not an electrician. The over all look and function is exactly what I wanted and my wife is very pleased. Also, the instructions and video links were easy enough to follow.

Good switch, though expensive
To start, I bought this switch set because it is the only one of its kind I could find. Options are non-existent. Installation was straightforward as a 3-way switch. It's no different, except to say that the live wire must be on the primary switch. That out of the way, the switch itself is neat. The rocker switch part is not a rocker switch, it's a simple pressure switch. There's no up for on, down for off. Touch it anywhere and it turns on and off. The dimmer switch controls the dimness (of course) and the two switches do sync with each other. All-in-all it's a good switch. It is expensive, probably because there is no competition. Someone else needs to make one.

Quality set of dimmers
Quality set for 3 way location dimming, needed for modern LED flush mount lights. All good, spend the extra for quality.

Does exactly what it promises to do, but the black switches are expensive.
The multi-location dimmer switch works as promised. We installed ours so that either of us could turn on/off and dim the bedroom lights from each of our sides of the bed. The gradual on and fade to off is a nice feature that gives the switch some added points. The green LED switch lighting on the master switch is a nice touch as well. I installed the slave first before the master and would recommend the opposite; install the master first and get that working before installing the slave. I miswired the master and it took a few attempts to get it working. Also, I originally pushed my wires into the back of the switch instead of looping them around the screws, and when I tried to pull the wires out (because I hooked it up wrong) the wires broke off inside the switch. The fit is VERY snug. I'm glad I have the switch installed and working and can find other uses around the house for additional installations but given the price of the black switches, I'll live the with slight inconvenience of having only 1 switch in a three-pole environment to control the dimmer.
