I have added the zink to my regimen to protect myself from covid. I am a 74 yrs old lady in good health. I am highly resistant to getting the vaccine because I have lost trust the government, big tech companies and the medical community. So I am taking vitamins C & D and Zink.

I recently read a new study about the effectiveness of 80-90 mg a day of Zinc Gluconate while you are fighting a cold. I found it not only helped with my cold (I started taking 3 of these a day as soon as I felt symptoms) but I caught a second stomach bug from my daughter while fighting the cold and I fared better than she did with that! (That NEVER happens!). My husband also thought it helped since he shared the same cold. Recommend!**Note you can overload on zinc if you take too much too often so only take it during your cold, no other time.

In these crazy days of everyone being out of everything, Swansons delivered when we were looking to replenish our zinc supplements. The tablets go down OK, although my wife claims they are a bit chalky, but that is to be expected in an oral supplement like this and she does not like the zinc lozenges. I would buy again.
