So I should’ve taken the other reviews more seriously when they said that the dress is short. (ordering a size up for the length is something I highly recommend) I ordered my regular size which is a 22, and that fit fine but boy is this dress short. I will have to put tights underneath because if I bend over you can see my butt and private parts. With that being said, it’s a cute dress, the material is a little itchy but nothing you can’t handle and it’s form fitting. I will update with pictures once I wear it out this weekend.UPDATE: So I wore the dress out for St. Patrick’s Weekend and i received so my compliments on the dress!!!!! It really is cute. Just be warned, if you have long curly or kinky hair, it will get caught in the dress. So make sure you style your hair accordingly. Other then that here are the photos of my night out.

The media could not be loaded.  I'm 5'7, So I was looking high and low specifically for a long sleeved sequined mini dress that wasn't crazy short for my birthday, I almost gave up and was almost in tears because nowhere in the mall had what I was looking for. Fashion Nova had a dress I was on the hunt for but they were sold out in store and online and my birthday was rolling so close by I couldn't wait. I got a dress from torrid but I felt like it was more of a nice dinner dress, than going out! I finally came across this dress online and was kind of skeptical because I usually don't order clothes off amazon, I didn't know what the quality was like, and also the dress looked a tad loose on the model and I wanted mine to be fitted. But I took a chance and ordered it in my true size in the green which is a 22. When it came, I opened it and tried it on, and while it fit and was actually prettier than I expected, it was still a tad too short for me like if I slightly bend you could probably see and I knew I would be uncomfortable fidgeting with my dress on the night of my birthday. So I reordered one size bigger to compare, and I got it today and it was soooo much better. It was a bit longer but not too much, just enough so It was still considered a mini dress and the fit although a smidge looser, was just a bit more comfortable to relax in. Quality is actually decent, the first dress I noticed a couple of sequins on the floor, not too many though, there's a lining in the dress so it's not itchy, the first dress felt a little hot, but the size bigger felt cooler perhaps because I wasn't so constricted and wasnt worried about the dress riding up. The weight of the dress, I mean it's not super heavyy and expensive feeling, but it doesn't feel super light and cheap either. It feels like I got it at a forever 21 or h&m which I'm okay with! The color I picked I adore, the green reflects blue and it looks like a mermaid! And if any of you have seen the movie nerve, this dress in the color green is similar to the one Emma Roberts wore in the movie! I'm overall pleased with the dress, I will be returning the smaller size, but I'm just happy I found a dress that fit and was exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!

This dress was an absolute hit!! It looked so good at night under the lights. It shined an sparkled. I got compliments all night. If i had to complain about anything at all, it would be the neckline. I wish it came down a bit more to show a little clevage lol. But other than that i love it!

After reading some of the reviews about the dress being too short and having to wear tights underneath it I was hesitant about the size I ordered. But, when I received it and tried it on it was amazing! Not only did it fit correctly, it was even long as well. The reviews about hair getting stuck on the material are correct. I had my hair in a ponytail while trying it on and my ponytail got caught so wear your hair even higher up. There is a slip inside so you don’t feel the material on the outside. For someone who hates itchy material even on the slightest bit, I had no complaints! I’m 5’3 and 250lbs and ordered my usual dress size as a 24W and it was perfect. I carry all my weight in the front, and it was not tight at all, very forgiving! It also goes all the way down to the top of my knees so it was long enough for me. I’m glad I took the chance on this dress and will be wearing it on my formal night on my upcoming cruise! It also is very sparkly in person, I got the navy blue color.

I couldn’t wait to try this dress on - so I slipped it on as soon as it arrived! (Mis-matching socks and all hahaha) I am OBSESSED! I cannot wait to get all dolled up and rock this dress. It’s super flattering and GORGEOUS! I plan to wear black or nude tights and black booties with it. Cannot wait!!!!

The media could not be loaded.  I'm 5'7" and wear a 2x so I ordered a 3x to be safe. It fit perfect in the waist, didn't hug my gut or hang unflatteringly. However, the top end was too big in the 3x. It swallowed my bust and hung off my arms. Neither of them are small on me so was surprised by that. I ended up safety pinning the armpits to make it fit better. ZERO sequins fell off, zero thread issues. It really did its job, I think I should have just ordered my size. Looked awesome on new years. It is a heavier dress, thicker material. Overall great quality.

Loved the dress it was a complete hit. It fit great all around it was just a little short I wore a black spanx body slip underneath which gave it another unnoticeable 2 inches that it needed for me.

I have a weird body : I have wide shoulders and big boobs but no hips n a big butt lol so just to be safe I bought a 22 because I knew I could get it taken in if need .. little to say I should have ordered a 18. Over all it’s made perfectly really comfortable so this is a must get especially if you have a special event coming. MUST ORDER!!!!

This dress is so comfortable and absolutely gorgeous I had so many compilments and the colour was perfect the only down side was the sequins were kinda falling off but otherwise just perfect

I followed the size chart provided by the seller and even had someone else measure me jsut to make sure that I was doing it right and based on the measurments it told me to order a 22, I normally wear a 16, but I thought maybe its small make & I would rather go with what the seller says than my own typical size. When the dress arrived I was in fact to big for me. The quality was really good, it was just disappointing that I couldn't wear it to my event.

I ordered a 16W and it fit big, closer to a 20. I'm 5'8 and this dress was not short. Just above the knee. It was perfect for New Year's and looked dynamite in low light. However, my arms were sticking to my sides all night. I lost some sequins this way, and am unsure how I can avoid losing more when I wash it. I think you could get 2 uses out of this dress before you'd have to toss it.

Usually dresses from China are way small this one was way too big! We had my measurements and ordered according to their size chart ,I had to change sizes 20 to an 18, to a 16 and they were all too big even though according to size I should of been a 20. I wear a 14 now with weightloss. It would be very cute if the fit was right and shaped the body properly but it didn't come close. Amazon returns are super easy and returns to your account were quick. I was impressed with that aspect!
