Elf Magic Jigsaw Puzzle

I love challenging puzzles and I think this is the biggest one I have ever done! It’s also the first puzzle I’ve ever glued together when complete bc the elves were just so adorable and look so cute in my elf themed Christmas living room!

all the pieces were there, although the pieces are thin they are very durable almost like chips of plastic... some puzzles mush together, some snap and like this puzzle some fit loosely i prefer this over mushy because you know if the piece fits... i decoupage and foam core mount my puzzles so i prefer thinner pieces that leave a more flat surface and this was perfect... this is a higher level beginner puzzle... no large dark areas to assemble by shape but there were some show areas but were quite easy to assembly...hints:assemble the edges and make a frame.... sort out the yellow windows assemble and place in the frame in their relative positions... in a clear space outside of the puzzle frame sort out all the pieces that have any color and then sort them by shape.. this is how i do all puzzles i sort based on number of knobs... i line up in rows by 1,2,3,4,0 and 2 knobs 90 degrees from each other into rows..... leave a large draw pile outside of the frame for use later, now randomly pick out a shape from the sorted rows and using the product picture locate that shape in its position inside the frame and put it there... do this for all the sorted shapes assembling as you go... when the elves are all assembled then assemble the ornaments in a row and piece in the wreaths around the windows and porch decks along with the 2 ladders... the rabbits and the squirrel, now sort out the snowy tree on the right and assemble it in the frame.... then from the draw pile sort out all the blue pieces into rows by shape and assemble, the draw pile now only has snowy pieces and tree pieces.... sort them by shape and by process of elimination assemble the puzzle but at this point i have found that it is best to switch tactics and instead of picking up a puzzle piece and poking it at the puzzle you find a blank spot on the puzzle and fill in all the obvious pieces by 4 knobs or 3 or 2 etc.... you may have to use a process of elimination at the end by putting your finger on a empty space and trying puzzle pieces that would have the correct number of knobs for that spot.... have fun...

I loved doing this puzzle. There are a lot of little details that you really have to pay attention to to finish the puzzle. It is definitely more difficult than some other puzzles, but was still enjoyable to do. This puzzle kept my boyfriend and myself busy for several hours.

Got this for my aunt. She loved it. Good quality, pieces fit snuggly so it could be moved around and not fall apart. Very nice puzzle.

This was a really fun puzzle to work on around Christmas time. The puzzle pieces were very high quality, not thin and flimsy like some cheap puzzles.

I bought this for my adult children to complete over Christmas. It proved to be quite challenging with oddly shaped puzzle pieces. It was successfully completed over a few days. Some of the pieces did need a bit of pressure to fit together.
