Absolutely worth the money! Ended up running THREE different Murder Mystery Parties as the pack contains cards that allows for three different endings, so if word got out on "who did it" at the first party, it wasn't a spoiler for the next parties. The little props provided, the Host Guide, the gradual release of clues in the "Rounds" was done really well. It does require a little preparation from the Host as there is a reasonable amount of preparation to make the evening go smoothly but is definitely worth the time, money and effort,

I've played one out of the three scenarios so far with friends, just planning the second now. It's really fun but some of the stuff is a bit weird (like asking players to sing 'london bridge is falling down' - not sure what this is meant to add and its just embarrassing?). Overall it's a great game and even as host I couldn't guess who the murderer was (two of the group did). Also - I don't recommend drinking while playing. Makes it very challenging to keep track of the clues haha.

As someone who has acted in murder mysteries for almost 9 years, I felt it was the right time to host a Murder Mystery party at home. This box was fantastic. Even though most of the group were women, they all got in the spirit to play the male roles. The clues were very well structured throughout the rounds, they gave everyone an equal chance to get involved and the materials included were good quality. I love that there's 3 different endings and the person running the murder mystery didn't know who'd done it so it was really enjoyable for everyone. We all said we'd do another one and no doubt I'll be buying another from this company.

Absolutely wonderful. Incredibly well put together and superbly simple to follow along with. Murder Mystery at the Theatre was my and all the guests first ever Murder Mystery evening and we had an absolute blast. I bought a few others from different makers and this one is by far the most comprehensive and well planned. Highly recommend for the beginner to this incredible evenings entertainment and for anyone that has hosted or played Murder Mystery evenings before this one is a real gem and with three outcomes it has the ability to be played a few times

Used this for a dinner party to celebrate my birthday and had the most fun! I’ve hosted a few murder mystery parties but this is my favourite pack so far!! Made it so much easier as the host for me to be involved but able to enjoy myself too. Only thing - we couldn’t understand the purpose of the secret traits! Made no difference to the play and was just an unnecessary extra card

Fun game over christmas with the inlaws

Excellent quality game cards and equipment. Great idea and superb characters....however...the only weakness is the plot and the limited deduction skills required. When we played, as there is note paper provided, everybody took copious notes when drip fed plot lines and police reports. As it turns out this is pretty much a complete waste of time as like a cheap ITV drama everybody has a motive for murder and the only real clues are provided at the very end at which point I assume the game designers hope that your so ‘bungalow’d’ on beer you don’t notice all the note taking was totally pointless! So in summary great idea & fun but your left feeling a little cheated.

Great product, looks classy, lots of content, PRODUCT ITSELF gets five stars from me. Can't say the same for the Amazon selling of it, which twice sent me open boxes on a "new item" listing. Pics attached. Apparently saying much more than that will get my review not published because it doesn't meet some guidelines. But the experience was what it was, and returns and refunds don't fully make up for something that shouldn't have happened, especially in the main gift- buying season.

We used this as a birthday dinner party for my daughter. The kids dressed up and looked great. I (mom) acted as host so they could enjoy the evening. They really got into it and had a lot of fun. The kit comes with all the details to easily organize the whole evening. We originally purchased another murder mystery kit and discovered it was more like a game to analyze clues and figure out the mystery. That is fun in its own way, but if you want everyone to come dressed as a character and make a whole evening out of it, this brand is the way to go. Note: our kids were 11-12, and I'd say a little young for some of the themes of alcohol and the reading level. Still, everyone had a great time and they didn't seem daunted by words they did not know. And they know the difference between bad choices in real life and play acting. Since they were a little young for it, I think they especially enjoyed playing fancy dress-up, maybe even more than if they had been older.

The product is alright in and of itself, but it got quite damaged in transit and should come better protected. The image into the front of the box came scratched and the box is a bit dented. Luckily the contents survived the trip.
