Not big enough for acorns to sit on their sides.

The tray is very sturdy. The pots are thinner than I had thought they would be but are working just fine. I planted Ponderosa tree seeds. The trees just started to come up and will need to be in the pots for a while. I’m a novice at this and tend to learn some processes trial-and-error. I do suspect that when the tree roots are well developed and trees ready to transplant that removal from these pots will work well because of the flexibility of the plastic. I am hoping to be able to reuse them. We’ll see.

Customer support is key to me having confidence in a product. I thought I was missing trays in my shipment - i wasn't - they are stacked together - one on top one on the bottom. Raised an issue with my order, and they got back to me in minutes, pointing out the subtleties i had missed. Excellent follow up!

I really wanted to like this set. And for the most part it is perfect. However the giant holes in the bottom of the pots allow lots your soil mix to fall out. Mess and waste. All they needed were some very small holes for drainage, like toothpick size. I ended up duct taping most of the bottom so I am not spilling soil everywhere.

Using these to sprout oak tree saplings. Nice Quality.
