Park Tool Spoke, Bearing and Cottergauge

We have a tandem e-bike with a rear hub motor. We broke a spoke. Probably because of the heavy weight of the motor. So I removed the wheel took out the broken spoke and had no idea of what kind of spoke to order as a replacement for it. So I ordered this tool to get out of the package lined up with my spoke when I'm lying to Amazon and ordered a bunch of replacement spokes. The new spokes fit perfectly because of this tool. It saved me so much money. Buying this tool and the whole set of spokes cost me the same as having one spoke replaced at the local bike shop. I now have knowledge, a new tool, and a lot of spare spokes. I hope you never need this tool but if you do, buy it !

If you need a spoke ruler, nothing else will do. I have used this to measure and sort batches batches of mixed length spokes. With this tool the process goes quickly, AND I don’t make measurement errors. The etched in markings don’t wear off like painted marks on other rulers.

Get rid of your metric ruler and do yourself a favor, buy this thing. Little holes at top allow you to drop j-bend spokes in to measure. Very well made and heavy duty. I may be too "young" to now about crank cotter sizes, but the ball bearing measurements along middle seem great. Perhaps a little overpriced for what it is. Ever mix up drive side vs. non-drive side when building a wheel................no you say......you lie. This easily and quickly measures to make sure you don't have spokes protruding into the rim (and therefore the tube).

Well, not much to say, complain or be excited about here: its a precise metal ruler with very good and clear easy to read markings on it. The ball bearing measuring holes are really useful actually and I recommend hobby users to have one of these tools in their workshop.
