Good little soundboard for simple projects.
The media could not be loaded. I have this one, the 16mb version, and the 16mb version with the onboard amp. Each has their strengths and their flaws. This 2mb version requires an external amp (or simply amplified speakers) and is picky about its power. (Ideally you'd run this off 3x fresh lithium AAs.) 2mb may not sound like much, but if you're just going for soundeffects, you can get a lot in there.Programming is easy and simply requires a laptop or tablet with a USB port and Microusb cable. Easy peasy. Highly recommended!

Used for a horn and backup sound on my Club Car
I wired this up for the "nicest horn" on my club car, and also connected it to the reverse circuit so I have a "quack quack" instead of an annoying bbbuuuuuzzzzzz. Great little board. worked perfectly.

Great device, even better seller!
Seller was (Chicago Electronic Distributors) AWESOME! They sent me a replacement when the original item I ordered was defective and couldn't be recognized as a drive in Win10. The seller, I give 5 *'s, the product is 4. I think their QC could be improved. However, I'm giving this 5 stars in the off-chance that the original defect was caused by me (doubtful, I'm very careful of static electricity zapping components). The replacement worked great! So, the product does work just fine. Only took me an hour to get all pins soldered and my project working.

It works Well and sounds great, but..
It works Well and sounds great, however you can't trigger two or more sounds simultaneously. You have to wait for the first triggered sound to end before you can trigger another one, which kind of makes it limited as far as adding to a project like a game or toy where multiple sounds need to be played at the same time. As far as setup: It was super easy and straight forward if you're used to soldering. Loading the files were easy as it just comes up like a flash drive. There's a sample file already loaded, just follow it's numeric pattern (T00, T01, T02..Etc). I recommend going with OGG files as they are smaller, 2 meg's gets eaten up quick, there are online websites that convert other formats like MP3 to OGG for free. It's a great little board, I hope they come out with one that can trigger multiple sounds at the same time.

Great board when used with a 5 volt DC supply
This board is really well thought out and very easy to use. I like that you can use it like a flash drive to manage files and can tell the board how to operate by the way the sound files are named. While it is specified to operate from a 3 to 5.5 volt supply, I recommend using it with a 5 volt power supply. The board I received would only intermittently allow audio to be triggered when powered by a 3.3 volt supply. With 5 volts I never have any issues using the board.I am using it with DROK Super Small 3W+3W DC 5V Audio Amplifier to play a message when an emergency stop button is pushed in at a commercial spa.

Good soundboard
Worked for my needs was only able to upload 3 sound files ~16 seconds total of sound so if you use all 9 pins you will need small wav files ease of install will depend on how your gonna use it

Not for my project, but still good hardware.
Ordered this and got the wrong idea of it's capabilities, returned. I imagine it's good for cosplay, lightsabers, that sort of thing with very short audio clips that can only play one at a time. HOWEVER - you can change the file names to make them one-shot, loop, and play different ways. For my use it didn't work out for the build I was planning, but that doesn't mean it's not a good piece of hardware. Quite the opposite, Adafruit is a great company with great products, just check the pinouts, reviews and FAQ before you buy to make sure it's right for your projects.
