its a quality mousepad
pros: - great size, medium is big enough for tons of free movement but small enough it fit on the slide out on my desk perfectly. - feels and looks quality. surface is consistent and fast but not overly silky so the mouse floats but stops when your hand stops, just right. stitching around the edge is subtle, but makes it stand out. combined with the crisp logo that hasnt worn even a bit after a year. quality. - cleans well. doesnt retain as many crumbs and other bits of debris compared to other/older pads. just hold it out, slap it, looks good as new lol cons: - none that stand out. bottom could be a tiny bit stickier but thats if i had to absolutely pick something. other: - the picture of the mousepad appears to show the edge stitching being slightly brighter than the pad itself. however i would say the stitching is a darker black than the pad. not a big deal, just an observation and maybe just my eyes/monitor are wrong ha. - i would have liked to have seen a version with white stitching around the edge. This would match the logo and look really crisp. (and match my white/blue PC ;) overall i give it a 95% rotten tomatoes

O love this Mouse pad
The build quality is exceptional, the rubber underneath has a great grip and the mouse Pad has a great glide. The size(XL) is perfect for my setup and I love it.

Outstanding Mousepad
I don't normally review items but after ordering this mousepad for the second time, I think it deserves it. This is my second time ordering this mouse pad. The first time was nearly 5 years ago and I had just recently decided to get a new one. I tried a wide array of mousepads but I still came back to this one. After 5 years of use and abuse, it held up perfectly. The stitched edge never frayed, the rubber bottom never slipped, and the surface always provided perfect tracking regardless of its condition. I only decided to get a new one because the surface started to wear out and became too fast for my preference. Given I had used it, quite literally, every single day, it took the full 5 years to even consider getting something new. Even though it comes rolled up, it only took me 5 minutes and a hairdryer to make it perfectly flat. I am sure packaging it rolled up is a way for SteelSeries to save money but that savings is relayed to the consumer. You get an amazing quality mousepad for what is considered the low end of the price range for mousepads. Even in 2024, I put this mouse pad at #1.

Good pad but the stitching needs work
I rather like this mousepad despite owning more expensive options. From a performance standpoint, it is basically exactly how I want my mousepad for a tac shooter. There is very little startup friction in spite of the decently controlled dynamic friction/glide, which makes this pad very easy to flick while still being able to microadjust. It's a very confident pad in terms of aim, but there are some downsides I should note. There are a few problems with the material. Namely, it has a very distinct odor. This is the mold release that is used to cast the rubber base. It actually left a residual coat on my desk that I had to wipe off after removing the pad. The actual surface however is decently smooth and free of imperfections, time will tell how well it holds up. The pad would be very ergonomic if not for the raised stitching. The stitching sits a good mm over the rest of the mousepad, so it digs into your arm and causes quite a bit of irritation. I have to leave this pad over the edge so that the stitching doesn't keep scratching my arm. Aside from a comfort standpoint, the stitching also interferes with the mouse when you graze the edge. With other mousepads, the stitching is low enough that your mouse will still glide fine until you practically run it off the pad. This translates to a larger usable area on the mousepad. I actually think the standard QCK is a better purchase due to the lack of raised stitching alone. Yes, it won't last as long as the QCK Edge, but you get a more comfortable mousepad with a larger usable area.

Great budget mousepad, stitching is a plus.
Great budget mousepad, a classic for good reason. The rubberized bottom is grippy and doesn't slide around on any tables. The material itself isn't particularly fast, but offers good consistency. The stitching is mostly flat and very soft, and I don't notice it at all during use. For the price, it can't be beat. My only complaint, which is a bit nit-picky, is that the Steelseries logo in the corner of the mousepad reduces the usable space, as it's screen-printed on which changes the texture of the mousepad's surface.

Good for aim
Ive had the desk mat, but ive personally grown out of desk mats especially when it comes to taking care of it, so I downsized to the Large size. This mousepad is one of the better mousepads ive used for aim and tracking, make sure to take good care of it and keep it clean as with all mousepads if you're serious about aim. I use this on my Logitech G Pro Wireless and Tiger Ice skates on 800dpi, and its a decent increase experience at higher levels of aim compared to when using cheaper mousepads. I live in a humid and tropical climate and it constantly stays dry, the stitched edges are nice, but the material is not too nice to chafe your arm across for long periods of time, after a few months I have a white streak at the bottom of the pad where my arm goes. But these are usually to be expected anyway.

It's very good
So I originally bought a Logitech g240 something mousepad for gaming n whut not. Then the g in the Logitech pad got wet or something and it started warping that part of the pad. So I decided to try my hand at a steelseries one (which was cheaper). I specifically got the one all nicely stitched on the edges. It's funny that the Logitech feels way smoother when you rub your hand across it, but the steelseries is waay smoother when you run a mouse over it (ikr !!). Soi know about fake stuff and it cant be ruled out, but that G on the Logitech pad is pretty tough, it's not coming off. The materials look premium (for $24ish i paid). It's the real deal. Not saying that it's bad, but I'm way happier with the steelseries for my purposes. And like I said the mouse feels much less resistant to the SS pad. I don't remember what ergonomic means but I gave it 5 stars, because heck, i feel ergonomical atm. And if you buy this mouse pad for the low low cost of like $15 or so, you can too!

Works great!
I love the size of this mat! It is pretty big so I don't have to worry about staying on the mat while playing games. it is nice and thin too so even though my keyboard is on part of the mat, I don't even notice it. It is a very stable mat, doesn't slip around at all. I know I posted a review earlier but I just have to say again, "I love this mat!". It is really nice to be able to use my mouse without having to worry about staying on a small mat. Not only that but I have my keyboard on part of the mat and it keeps it from moving around without seeming to add any height to it! I like the stitched edge, it keeps the mat nice and flat.

Big, Smooth glide and cheap
It is decently smooth initially, but does slow down after breaking in. In terms of friction, this mouse pad is an all rounder and is good for any game. I've played csgo, valorant, LOL, Marvel rivals and more, never had a problem with precision or tracking. The size is perfect for arm Aimers giving me enough space to perform big movements. Quality of the stitching is good, and durability is average (been using it for 2-3 months now). Overall, nothing special but it's a bang for your buck if you want an all rounder mousepad, just buy it went it goes on sale because if it's 30+ then it's no longer a bang for your buck.

Rand
De gestikte rand is een stuk dikker dan het matje zelf, waardoor je met je arm/pols steeds over die verdikking schuurt!
