Q: Are these frames a soft plastic like the Flex 2 frames?

I am not familiar with the Flex 2 frames so I am not sure but I would count the plastic as being soft. I have been using these type of glasses for multiple years and I swear by them. If you get the right magnification for you, you can use them all day long for both computer work and non. $30 bucks is a lot better then $600 for doctor made glasses. I find that the 1.00 or 1.50 power work great for computer work and the low magnification lets me still see people and the room easily. I get 3.00 power for close reading. The glasses last forever if you keep them in their case when you are not using them. If you just put them in your pocket without the case they will get scratched.

Q: what is the prescription power on the top portion ? Is it plane clear lens on top ? If yes, then does it mean we can wear it all the time right ?

The top of the lens would be 50% of the bottom. For example if you select a reader strength of 2.00....The BOTTOM would be 2.00, The MIDDLE would be 1.50, and the TOP would be 1.00.

Q: How do determine the size of the frame?

The dimensions are listed in the product description if you scroll down the page. Dimensions: Lens width 53mm, lens height 35mm, nose bridge 18mm, frame width 138mm, temple arm 144mm.

Q: Do these have the same blur spots as progressive lenses?

I am not sure what you are referring to as blur spots, but this is how our Tri-Focus frames work. The bottom section of the frame would be the strength that you are selecting to purchase for example 2.00. While using that as the example the middle would be 1.50 and the top is 50% of the bottom so 1.00. I hope that helps.
