The 1000 year old Boy

My 12 year old is not a big reader per se, but I had no fights getting him to read this book. He loved it and said like 10 times after he finished, what a great book it was! Now to find another good one for him to keep reading... :)

Excellent book. Read it with your kids of 8-12 years. Will help in bonding and in connecting with their wold

Alfie Monk is 11 years old. He lives with his mother in a secluded house in the middle of some woods in northern England. This is a wonderful story for kids and adults alike. Did you ever think it would be good to live forever? You won’t after listening to this book. Lots of great ideas, historical detail, atmospheric renderings of the life in northeast of England, the values of deep friendship, and an exciting plot. Do get this book.
