Heading on a transatlantic voyage at sea from an Italian lab to America, D'Agostino is the story of a male human clone left for dead at the shores of Santorini, Greece. This lost cargo, commissioned by wealthy individuals for organ transplants, is abandoned as the freight cannot be recovered. Allan Dawson has recently inherited his grandmother's island estate. He's in a loveless relationship with his common law spouse Sylvia. As he finds this interesting freight, what follows is a macabre tale of self-realization as Allan proceeds to set himself out of his sedentary existence to mold his new male companion, at command, for his own personal sexual benefit with dire consequences.

Strange surreal but fascinating film
Strange, surreal but fascinating film about a man’s journey into a fantasy world which has a bizarre twist at the end.Keith Roenke gives a stunning performance in the title role of Allan, caught between the real world and the world of his imagination. The only complaint I would have with the cast is the fiancée who looks old enough to be Allan’s mother. Perhaps that too is a part of the fantasy or maybe an Oedipus complex. The cinematography is stunning and captures the enticing beauty of Greece. The local color is present throughout. The music is appropriately atmospheric.Pay attention carefully to follow the storyline. The surprise ending is in the Hitchcock tradition, and though unexplained, fits into the fantasy aspect of the film.Rent or buy this film. But do enjoy it.

Life's Unreal Moments!
For those of you who are so shallow as to take this film for its worth on just surface face value, I feel extremely sorry for your effort!! This has to be one of most symbolic of all films to produce such a master piece!! It is a journey in life for a man from a very easy existence to one of almost a surreal situation. His problems in trying to work out this situation lead to an ending of Alfred Hitchcock proportions. The audience must pay very close attention in order to follow the story line. Altogether this film is a wild, problematic, fantasy driven, insinuated romance, sexual identity crisis, and an unreal situation! Watch it if you dare! NJMJr!!!

Interesting but needs some work
Interesting story line and concept but it dog slightly... They last 10 minutes of the film is really not well defined such as what made the "clone individual" changed to a normal individual... Was the laptop computer or the storm caused by "mythical" forces made the change? And how did the clone individual come to his Santorini home way up there on the caldera of the island....mystical guidance..many questions remained unanswered ... But it demonstrates the possibility of the reverse of fortune especially when one treats anyone as an animal and demonstrates social ignorance in caring for a human being of any type.

Different, Foreboding and Unusual
The story line is a very good idea. I found it hard to follow at times. Some times it was a very good production and then it seemed not so. Several themes happen at the same time which come together in the end. The story of clones to be used to supply donor organs seemed to be what was going to happen, but it was totally not. Dark in content and the way it was filmed worked together fairly well. Politically correct would not be a term I would use on some of the remarks and actions. This is not a feel good type of movie, but it does make you think.

Fast-Forward Thru Lots of This Movie
An interesting story, although oddly edited with extensive footage of the scenery (not useful), and a mishmash of character descriptions (mainly the lead character's voice-over). The story has big gaps, and it is up to the viewer to figure things out. Also, can you really fly from Greece to London and back overnight? The lead actor was the best part of the film, and possibly the secondary male actor for his pet-like role (not easy).

A hot guy with mommy issues
3 stars only because of Allan.I'd sooner believe that D'Agustino got zapped by the Internet & absorbed intelligence from it, before I'd believe Allan would be engaged to that woman that looked old enough to be his mother. I see the point of the earrings, but they could have used a gold pair of Channel earing instead of those rigged earrings. Horrible creepy ending. This is one of those you watch just to say you watched it.

Pretty Awful
If the direction had been better, and the acting, and the screenplay, and the dialogue etc etc, it would still have been bad. This was an expensive buy and a real let-down. The plot description and the trailer lulled me into thinking this would be worth viewing. Either they're very clever or I'm particularly stupid. Ah well.

Worst film
There are bad films and then there is this piece of trash. It is so bad that it is beyond description. How this director George Ameer gets money to make films is beyond me. He wrote, directed and even appears in this film. I once had the misfortune of sitting through one of his earlier efforts called The Singing Forest. In the intervening years he has learnt nothing. It is a toss up as to which film is actually the worst film ever made. I don't know who writes reviews on the IMDB for his films but they must be as deluded as him. This film actually deserves less than one star.
