Whirlpool 4396923 Genuine OEM Premium Broiler Pan

Use this in a gas oven for chicken wings and steaks at least twice a week. Used it a dozen times so far and it works well and is easy to clean. Even easier if you line the bottom pan with a sheet of tinfoil. I washed it in soap and water before the first use in case there was any manufacturing residue on it, but it looked very clean out of the box. (Some complained of "smells," which is why I washed it, but did not experience any "smell" issues.) My old one was cheap, rusty and I was tired of scraping my knuckles on the bottom side sharp ridges trying to get it clean scrubbing both sides with Scotch-Brite pads, which are pretty expensive now, by the way. I let both this and the old one soak overnight in dish soap, but the old one still took 10 minutes of scrubbing compared to this one which takes less than 1 minute and wipes clean with a soapy sponge - no more expensive scrubbing pads! I hated using the old one because of the cleanup hassles and am very happy with this one - should have replaced the old one long ago. Before I bought this on Amazon, I tried to find a porcelain one like this in local stores but all I did was waste gas and found bare steel types like my old one. Maybe you can find a porcelain one at a local store, I don't know, but save the gas and have it delivered to your door... it will be cheaper that way for sure!

This broiler pan set looks just like the original ones that come with stoves. My only complaint is that the top of doesn't fit snugly on the bottom. I still gave it 5 stars because that could be an intentional design, perhaps to nake it easier to lift off the bottom, which might be dangerous when the pans are hot out of the oven and if they fit snugly. The quality is good and they clean easily after use. Very happy with this purchase and value for the surprisingly low cost.

We’ve used this broiler pan several times and like how it cooks the food evenly. It’s very easy to clean also. The one objection is that the bottom pan edges aren’t as smooth as the top pan. Otherwise, we are happy with it!

Just arrived early. I have not used it yet but it was nicely packaged and no chips, dents or scratches in the coating. Can't wait to make wings. I will update if it warps or chips after use.

Don’t bother to buy the others, I’ve tried them all. Broken promises and tears. These genuine Whirlpool ones do not buckle and they clean up real easy. You can feel the quality as soon as you take them out of the superb packaging. Just get them.

Works well easy to clean

This is the broiling pan that's supplied to the major appliance makers to include with there kitchen ranges. so you know right away it's top quality. It's quite reasonably priced, too. All the other choices are Asian knock-offs, and judging by the Amazon reviews, it seems all of them only last a little while before the surface degrades. So I thought I was being smart buying this one. It really is top quality. One small hitch, the oven in my apartment is 24-inches wide, not the usual 30 inch. So sadly, this fine broiling pan simply doesn't fit in my oven, either side-side or front-to-back. I had to return it, and paid way too much for a slightly smaller one at Williams-Sonoma. I think 24-inch ranges are rare, and I'd never have one in a house I owned, but just check before you buy.
