New 3 Gallon Ball Lock Keg with Dual Handle Two Pack

Don't be skeared--these are good kegs...
I received mine yesterday. They are both labeled at 3-gallon maximum capacity. Both of them were still holding the pressure that the manufacturer used to test them--good puffs from both pressure relief valves. The pressure relief valves are on the cheaper side but everything else is decent. And, as with all ball and pin lock kegs--every component can be replaced. Additionally, the seller included a complimentary set of o-rings. One caveat, these kegs have the footprint of a pin lock keg so consider that when deciding if it will fit into your keezer.I disassembled everything and gave them an overnight soak in homemade PBW. They are ready to hold some kombucha now, so I reckon I ought to put some SCOBYs to work.I have rebuilt used ball lock kegs--from Amazon and Craigslist--and converted pin lock kegs--Craigslist--to ball lock. I also have 2 Torpedo kegs that were purchased new. These are good kegs and the components are equal to the quality you will see elsewhere. Naturally, the newer kegs show a drop off in quality from the kegs that were produced in the last century, but they are still capable of force carbonating and dispensing beer, hard cider, and kombucha. Don't be skeared--if you need kegs these will serve you well.

These are 3 gallon kegs. Good, but not great.
I haven't used these kegs yet, but wanted to set the record straight. I purchased these and they are 3 gallon kegs (see picture). I will revise my review after use.Edit: I did test the kegs with water. You have to make sure it seals correctly, but otherwise it fills to 3 gallons (with hardly any space at the top) and works fine. It can be difficult to get the ball lock fittings for the tap and gas connections on, but I've had similar issues with mini kegs. These are the first cornelius kegs I have owned, so nothing to compare it with. I'll update again when I put some beer in it. I would give 3.5 stars, but Amazon only allows for 4 or 3.Second update: I have used these kegs with beer and get leaks some of the time. I might replace the ball locks due to the leaks, but other than that, these are great! Changed to 4 stars as it works great in my keezer setup!Last update: keg leaked after I tried to fix it again. Luckily, it stayed in the keezer! Changed review to 3 stars and recommend getting better quality kegs or know how in fixing these.

Great for the price
These kegs are perfectly fine. Ignore the 1 star reviews. Are they perfect? No. But two new 3 gallon kegs for this price is a steal. They’re a little scratched up, the glue can be seen in some spots where the rubber attaches, and the lid takes some strength to snap on. But for the price, they will hold pressure and dispense beer perfectly the same as any other.

Great New 3 Gallon Kegs
I read some of the other reviews that weren’t very good, so I was not sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. I thought they were perfect. They were brand new, clean, and pressurized. They seem like they’re good construction quality too. I bought these to break up my home brew batches into smaller, more portable quantities. If you’re at all concerned about whether or not to buy these, don’t be. They’re great quality kegs and a good deal for the price.Oh, they are 3 gallons labeled on the side.

Potent Rubber Smell Doesnt Go Away
While these kegs do work fine, they have one main problem and that is with the rubberized pieces. The endcaps on these kegs have retained a terribly strong smell of rubber and despite many washings, treatments with vinegar and baking soda, the offgassing smell of rubber persists. This is not desirable in a beverage-serving situation. If the smell of rubber will bother you, it would be better to avoid these cornies.

Nice
Very best price I could find anywhere on the internet. Other sellers seem to disguise the name and sell them for a much higher price. They work very well and I am very happy with them. They make it possible for me to put 2 - 5 gallon corney kegs in the front and this shorter 3 gallon keg in the back of my kegerator.

Horrible customer service
I have been using Cornelius tanks for years and years so I thought I would give these smaller ones a chance. Well they worked good for about a week until the gaskets started popping out. I contacted the owner about the problem and he pretty much just told me it was my problem. Not even a hint of customer service. I own a business and would never treat a customer this way. 1-star all around.
