Zoeller 004892 Effluent Pump | Switch for 53-0001

I was having sticking issue with my sump pump switch, replaced it with the one i received from Amazon and now the pump is working perfectly. Not only is my pump not constantly turning on from a weak switch levetler to not having the pump turn on. 5 out of 5....

This switch was straight forward to install and was what was needed to make the pump run again. Had some difficulty with one of the four bolts securing the housing but made it through with injury or friction blister. Zoeller would be doing us all a favor if the bolts would take a socket instead of a screwdriver. Very happy to have not suffered the expense of relacing the entire pump.

Purchased as a back-up, but they have worked well in the past.

The switch worked But the terminal ends we’re supposed to be both pins as in Product photo but the switch I received had one pin terminal and one spade terminal I had to replace the spade terminal with pin terminal in order to connect it

Wasn’t my problem. I hoped it would have been the cheaper fix and not have to buy a new pump. The pump is 7 years old, worked very hard In rainy seasons. Often going on every 3 - 5 minutes for hours or days. I’m keeping the switch kit to be prepared if I ever need it. The Zoeller sump pump is warranted for 3 years, I got 7 out of it. With my usage in Noth East Pennsylvania I think I will just replace Zoeller pump’s every years. What saved me from a flooded crawl space my Zoeller Aquanot 508 battery back up system. Yes, I am a fan of Zoeller.

Repair kit came complete with screws, clips gasket and instructions. Pump works now like a new one.
