A small investment to seriously extend the life of your sled. If you buy an Otter, JetSled, Etc. and skip adding these protective runners you're going to be buying a new sled every year or two, these will quadruple your sled's life easy.

Instructions were clear. Definitely a 2 (or more) person job.Glad they had a few extra pieces of hardware cuz some of the screws, washers and nuts were defective.

I put these on all my ice fishing sleds. Definitely thick enough to protect the bottom from damage and replaceable. Also helps your sled slide better over ice.

Easy to drag sled over snow without skids. If you are dragging over terrain that will damage your sled then put the skids on. I siliconed the skid between skids and sled. Sled is harder to pull over just snow with skids on.

Solidly built product. Just installed one of these on a magnum sled and coaxing the leading edge into the hyfax area of the sled even with a hammer takes some persuasion. Required significant force. Do yourself a favor and find a drill bit with the correct Allen head and also one for the small lock nuts. There are so many to install that doing it by hand would take forever. Definitely a worthy purchase if you want to protect your sled for many seasons to come.

I use my Otter sled to haul firewood behind my snowmobile and the Hyfax kit will preserve the bottoom of my sled for years longer than without them. The only flaw is that the bolts protrude into the bed of the sled so I am going to add a second nut to prevent damage to cargo... a minor detail.

Shipped very fast but unfortunately the hardware was lost in transit. Contacted the seller and they were great, insted of having to wait for another hardware bag they refunded me right away and I got what I needed from the local hardware store. The hyfax fit the sled perfectly and I still made the weekend fishing trip!

First rate supplier. Minor issue with a few missing fasteners that the supplier resolves quickly and professionally.The product is of excellent quality and fit well, installed easily.I would have no issue recommending the product and the supplier. 5 stars for both.

I love things. I put a second set on my Otter sled. Then I decided to by yet another set. These ones to put onto the wood skis of my permeant ice hut. Doubling up on each side, it slides more easily on ice and snow that just the bare wood skis. In fact, if you decide to do the same, and you set your hut up on ice with no snow, ensure your hut is anchored. Otherwise, you may see your permanent hut slide away in the wind. .. It could happen to anyone! Your welcome. .. They're great!
