We have used this product for years and recommend it for pups and bitches.For kibble: Add a scoop or two to your dogs dry kibble. I think it needs to be well coated on each piece of kibble before any water is added. Plus, keep in mind it doesn't mix well at colder temps so try to warm the food bowl itself otherwise there may be chalky bits stuck to the side of the bowl. Once the food is well coated and very little dry powder is on the bottom of the bowl, add hot water for the consistence you want. We have added enough water to cover all the food in a typical dog bowl. We mix it up and it becomes lots of liquid with the kibble. Our female Australian Labradoodles love it and they get extra fluids this way. You can play with the ratio and thickness of the milk mixture. We have some of our doodles that like it thicker then some that love it with tons of water.For supplemental feeding: We put hot water in a bottle then mix in the powered mixture. I believe it's a scoop to 2 ounces of water. If you're feeding a pup you want the ratio to be correct and you must follow the directions on the bag because that pup needs the exact ratio so they aren't too watered down missing out on the needed nutrition or too thick making them extremely thirsty later. Our pups do like this but always prefer their mother first. We also add this to our pups food, similar to the above method, when we are weaning them from their mothers. It's great nutrition for their developing ears, ears, teeth, and coat.We buy this in large quantities because we use so much of it.

My puppy enjoys it and it's an easy way to help him put on needed weight. Like another user said, it's puppy crack.
