If you don't carw about hearing the cooling fan 24/7, it is a good buy
The out put power if great, the reason for only giving a three is that the cooling fan is always on. Because of this I was not able to leave this mounted where I had originally planned and moved it somewhere else on the boat where we could not here the fan.I ended up buying a different converter all together to use inside the boat.

Complete garbage. Broke within a month
Fuse blew on it. Changed the fuse out. Blew again immediately. Upon further inspection, I noticed that there is internal continuity between the + and - terminals with the input wires off. Clearly the windings melted inside and short circuited the unit. The fuse is not wired in a way so as to prevent this from happening. Completely amateur electronics equipment that should not be used on anything serious.

I've owned this little gem for a few months and it has been rock solid. I've nick named it "Darth Vader" because every few seconds the fan comes on and it sounds like slow breathing. LolConsistently puts out 13.2v and I've not had a single problem with it on my LiFePO4 batteries.
