Really nice. I really like it
It has a good sound, the mouth piece that it has really helps. I would be nice if you can remove it so you can play with or without it is you want to try that way

Nice for the Price Point
This is a plastic instrument. It seems very strong. It is not a toy; neither is it top quality. Perfect for kids or beginners. You can even rinse it out without damage. Recommended.

Going Up The Country
It seems to be everything it was advertised as, a solid beginner’ pan flute. I have been trying to get down the instrumental on Going Up The Country, the song that Canned Heat popularized. Actually, they picked it up from Henry Thomas’ Bull Doze Blues. This pan pipe has all of the notes to the tune. It sounds pretty good, well worth the money.

Tuneable
I like this flute very much. It was a bit out of tune, but it has moveable plugs. I used varying size dowel rods to move the plugs to A440 using a guitar tuner. I had to screw a 3" wood screw into the plug to move it up or down, on the smaller tubes. It could be re-tuned to various minor keys, I believe. It can easily be changed to G by moving the F plugs up to F#. I'm buying another one to experiment with tuning. Fun! Michael Addendum. I have bought two of these . This has to be the easiest instrument on earth to play. I am buying more to tune to different keys. I can play anything on them and have learned to bend notes for flats. I play everything from jazz to Irish music to backing tracks on You Tube. I am an experienced musician on many instruments. The two people who gave this a negative review are, clearly, not musicians. Bless there hearts! Michael

Not traditional but Serious instrument!!!
This instrument has many strengths and none of the weaknesses of a traditional pan flute. First of all the sound is amazing. The harmonica like mouth piece makes it easy to produce a clear pure tone. You can also blow over the top of thr mouth price into the tube directly fir that traditional breathy sound the pan flute is known for so it sounds like two different instruments in one. That being said it is weather proof so it will withstand hot/cold/dry/damp climates not problem. Light weight and easy to fit in a back back but very sturdy so you never have to worry about it breaking if you drop it. This is a unique interpretation of the pan flute which offers more than the traditional ones in my opinion as a musician, especially for the price you can't beat it.

Great for beginners
Got this pan flute initially as a joke to be silly but after a week am so in love with the pan flute am ready to upgrade to a better quality one. There is a mouthguard over the pipes which lets anyone just pick it up and play but cannot be removed to try and work on your mouth positioning to play properly. This pan flute can get loud to play notes clearly and the high notes are a bit shrill (it was upsetting my dog lol!)If you're looking into trying a pan flute this one is great and at $35 is not a commitment. Highly recommend for first time users.
