Gold-Finish Restaurant Crumb Sweepers, Set of 6

I don’t use them to clip on so I can’t vouch for that. I use them to clean crumbs off our cloths at our weekly meals. They’re pretty and gold is still intact.

I like that they are cheap because I tend to lose these. I work at a restaurant. They are perfect for sweeping the crumbs off of a table cloth.

My screen name says it all - I am a geek for cleaning tools. I wanted one of these from the first time I saw one used in a restaurant. Still the best tools for cleaning up a tablecloth in-place. This set is nice and stiff, and sharp to ensure good contact with your tablecloth.

The term "crumb sweeper" applies a little too literally to this product. Other crumb sweepers I've used allow the lip of the sweeper to lift the crumbs into the concave part. All this one does is move them from one part of my tablecloth to another. I've tried holding it at different angles and finally resorted to using it to scrape the crumbs into my palm but frankly I can do that more efficiently with an old credit card. This item may work for small round hard objects like beads, as another customer noted, but does nothing to clean crumbs and bits of food like rice etc. off my tablecloth. I may be able to re-purpose these as a vertical sugar or spice scooper but only because I don't want the hassle of returning them.

It worked ..I saw the waiter on cruise ship used it and I love it .All the bread crumbs off the table cloth pretty easy.Good buy ...I like it a lot and deceive to buy one for each of my family member ...

After searching in many kitchen shops, I turned to Amazon and there they were. I got the set as a gift, but when they arrived, I kept a couple for myself. Gold colored finish, with a pocket clip - AND they function just as advertised. They arrived quickly too.

The crumbers look nice and work as well as any other I've used of this design style, however within a few hours of hanging them on the pocket of my apron the clips invariably fall off. The crumber still works once I fish it out from the bottom of my pocket, but the first one I had in this style never had this problem (I think I lost it by accidentally putting it through the dish room with flatware I had cleared...) In conclusion, I don't think I would purchase these again, but I'm not going to send them back or throw them away either because they still work despite being less convenient than having one consistently perched on the edge of my pocket...
