Hunter Pro Alox Large Pocket Knife with Lock Blade and Lanyard Hole - Silver

Beautiful knife with a solid and comfortable handle, great quality from Victorinox as aways.

I have to admit that I would have preferred the red alox handles of the two-handed opening version, to the silver alox of this one-handed knife. That aside, this is a great knife. Well made, solid build, reasonably sharp edge out of the box. I like the fact that Victorinox doesn't use an ultra-hard steel on the blade - I much prefer the well balanced steel they use here -- it holds an edge well, does not chip easily, and is fairly easy to sharpen. I also like that this Swiss Army knife only has a blade, and not a half dozen other tools! I will be using this knife on a regular day-to-day basis, at home and in the field, for a long time.

I'm a huge fan of Victorinox Alox knives. I recently got one of these. It is great! I love the blade hole for easy one-handed opening. This is a big knife. It is a heavy knife. Unlike the smaller Alox Swiss Army knives available, this model has stainless steel liners in addition to the aluminum handle scales. The stainless steel liners are not drilled out for weight relief (a lot of knives from other brands will do this), and the effect is a knife that is very heavy. Really, too heavy for EDC (everyday carry). I mostly bought it to collect anyway, so this isn't really a dealbreaker for me. I also love that it has a pocket clip which none of my other Victorinox knives have. Great addition. Comes with the paracord lanyard which increases the cost and I really have no use for, so I wish it wasn't included.

Bought as a gift to a friend after seeing and handling one up close. Superb quality and a great feel in the hand. I have very large hands and this beautiful, robust knife allows for a wonderful grip. The Alox handles, super sharp blade, removable pocket clip and overall quality, make this a real winner and at a bargain price! Now, I want one! Highly recommended.

This is not your grandpa's Swiss Army Knife. The version I purchased has the one-handed opening cut-out similar to Spyderco knives. The blade is 3.75' and opens with a smooth action using only the thumb. The textured aluminum handles provide a good grip without being aggressive for easy retrieval from the pocket, also with a deep carry pocket clip and artistically done braided lanyard. The fit and finish are superb, even the inside of the knife handle is polished to perfection. The finger grooves give a good grip while working the blade in tough material. It has a scandi grind with micro-bevel and came razor sharp out of the box. This knife is built to last a lifetime and with proper care and maintenance would make a nice heirloom to hand down to an outdoor enthusiast's son or daughter.

I got this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it! It's a good size for everyday wear, it's sharp, and works great.

EXTREMLY HARD TO OPEN THE BLADE WITH THE BLADE LOCK USING MAX force on the lock. I had to use two thumbs.It is a pain in the ass

Excellent product with Ingenious design from Victorinox in Alox scales. Here is my bit about the product feedback. Type: Authentic Usage: New Blade Shrpness: Factory based and excellent Packing: Poor (repacked at some stage) Here’s my concerning bit - I have no doubt about the authenticity; but, as you can see in the attached images, product itself was placed flipped & upside down. Not only was it repacked but it also carried a few fingerprints. I’d much appreciate if the seller - Perusal could clarify why was the packing tampered with, at what stage and for what reason? Oh, I’m definitely holding on to it. It’s a good product overall !! P.S.: Image of the knife with paracord pendant was taken after basic cleaning. Rest of them were clicked as I unpacked the item.

Excelente tacto y diseño. Calidad óptima pero la he devuelto por ser muy pesada para el bolsillo. Mejor me quedo con la de cachas sintéticas . Una pena por el peso
