The description stated that they become soft after every wash, still waiting for that. It's been over a year. We wash and hang dry as per instructions. They are not soft and fluffy which is what my family if use too. They are not too absorbent, but do the job of getting water off your body. They are oversized and prefect for lounging in the sun though and once we used them as lite blankets on a plane ride. Overall, I like them for the functionality other then a towel.

These are good quality but really more like blankets. They don’t adsorb water very well.

I’d never been converted to the Turkish towel lifestyle but now I’m hooked. These towels are so dang soft and INCREDIBLY beautiful. The dark blue is far and away my favorite but all are gorgeous. Seller is fantastic and we received one incorrect color and they immediately sent out a replacement. We bought another style from the same seller and while totally different look and even feel, we adore that set as well. Definitely buy these!

I have used Turkish peshtemal towels before and I really liked them. However this one has a completely different feeling. It is super soft and has a nice design that's actually too nice to use as a towel.Even though it's thicker than other peshtemal towels that I previously used, if you are a traditional towel person who prefers thicker towels, this may not be a good fit for you.I love these towels for the following reasons:1- They are very large so it's great for the beach or a picnic. You can use these towels for both the bath and beach however if you live in colder areas you may want to use the regular towels during Winter.2- Dries quickly and more absorbent than what I was expecting comparing to other peshtemals that I used.3- The design and the material is beautiful so we are also using them as cover for our love seat couch and also used them as a fun outdoor table cover.4- Its very compact. Once you fold them it takes less than half the space than the smaller regular bath towels. A must have for airplanes or people who have minimal storage.Enjoy these towels!

If you are like me you have read a million reviews on these and are feeling worried about some of the poorer reviews. I had been debating this purchase for a while and then noticed my friend had a Clotho towel that she said they have had forever. These arrived yesterday- out of the package they were pretty soft. I did secure the tassel knots and then rinsed in cold water with some vinegar and air dried. My family was skeptical (“no fuzz!?”) but were quickly won over. My daughter in fact wore the towel wrapped around her all day. She got some lint from the green but no other lint was noticed on the others.Super excited for our purchase!

These a great towels, but not really beach or pool towels because they SHRINK A LOT the first time you wash them. The are dense and THIN, which is awesome, they feel great and dry you really well. No one needs a tick heavy towel, what you want is a densley woven thin towel that will dry you, they dry off quickly. These things feel amazing, but will shrink about 30%. Big bath towel, or a pool towel maybe, but not.a beach towel.

Bought these after I saw a friend's at our pool, and so happy I did. They are incredibly cute, absorbent and soft. They wash really well, also. But after washing a few times, I've noticed them starting to pill. This won't impact their effectiveness as towels, but they do look a little less cute after each wash. We took them to the beach recently, and we discovered two added benefits: 1) sand doesn't stick in them like it does in traditional/terry towels, and 2) they're perfect wraps/blankets at night.

These towels are awesome!! They are light weight, super absorbent and dry quickly. We liked them so much we bought another 4 pack. These are the only towels we will buy for house from now on.
