V300FP Polypropylene Ball Valve, Three Piece, Full Port, 3" NPT Female

I really wanted to like this valve. It is well made of quality materials but has 2 design flaws that made it a complete nightmare to install. I have used lots of 3 piece ball valves and to use this ball valve your pipes have to be moved back 1/2" on both sides to use this valve. I had to remove all the supports to the piping to get enough room to put the center section in. The whole point of a 3 piece ball valve is you shouldn't have to move the pipes to put the center section in. That is why 3 piece ball valves are used to work on existing pipes. Then because I had very little room to get the center section in the super thin fiddly o-rings on both sides wouldn't seat correctly. Very annoying for a ball valve going in a critical location. Fortunately finally after 6 hours of messing with it we were able to turn the water back on. It seems well made but because of that design issue and super flimsy o-rings I can't really recommend using this product. It needs to be redesined the way 3 piece ball valves are suppose to work. After it's in it works alright.

Very nice valve. Does have a slight drip when we have three thousand gallons of water behind it.

Female NPT threads for connecting to male threaded pipes was advertised but it came in with full port ends.Now I have to buy (1) 3" FULL PORT FLANGE X 3" MALE ADAPTER, (1) 3" FLANGE X 3" MALE THREAD, (2) 300 SERIES WORM SCREW CLAMP and (2) 3" SKIRTED FLANGE GASKET. Its not about the extra cost, it's about the lost revenue for the unit it was going to go on. Quality of product is good ordering process good, tracking good, delivery good , as advertised poor
