Actually, I'll be using this outsize mug/bowl for soups, chili, and other comfort foods. It's very pretty and cozy and complements another blue-green handled bowl that my husband and I fight over. I wanted one just this size and shape with a curve that allows a soup spoon to fit inside and lift out chunky ingredients; a bonus is that it's a bit lighter to hold than I was anticipating so I'm relinquishing the original, slightly heavier one to my husband--although he, strangely, is eyeing the polka dots with a predatory look (I think it's because it appears, side by side with the other, to hold a little more, though a measuring cup test I conducted proves they hold the same). Wish it were less expensive--we're prone to breakage--but the fact that it's handmade and not churned out in China explains the price.p.s. You'll not be surprised to learn, if you read the above, that my husband made two chips in this beautiful mug. I tried to order another, this time charging it to his credit card (consequences), and was saddened to see it was unavailable. Then the other night I randomly clicked on it and saw that one, and only one, was being offered for sale. Maybe it was sent to me courtesy of the mug gods. It's now sitting on a shelf above the original, which my husband says he's fine about using--a good thing since he's forbidden to use, touch, or wash this new one. Mine!

Gorgeous design, lovely smooth line and a great color that compliments a latte. This cup is the perfect size for a triple shot latte, and puts a smile on my face each morning when I drink from it. Nice large size cup great for cappuccino and bid tea drinkers. Not cheap but are handmade so each will be unique. Got a Teal and Blue one both nice colours but quite close. Had to wait for the second cup to arrive long after the first even though amazon website showed stock. Would recommend

This cup is so lovely I'm ordering more. It's used for a relaxing cuppa and my grandaughter likes her cereal in it. It's not heavy to hold and a beautiful teal colour.

the bowls (bought 4 ..different colours) are gorgeous and different. However, claims microvable.... not quite. If more than a minute or two the bowl gets very hot (need a towel or oven glove to handle it). Apart from that, we are very happy with our purchase.
