Fender bridge, fits perfectly
Great bridge and fast delivery. Perfect upgrade to my Fender PJ bass. Quick set up and the extra mass does help with some sustain and control over the bent metal bridge that was stock.

An easy, attractive upgrade to my Fender bass!
I purchased this as a replacement for the bridge and saddle assembly on a Player II Mustang PJ bass, mostly for aesthetic reasons, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Installation was a breeze -- the screw holes align perfectly with the old bridge, so it was a simple matter of swapping out the bridge assemblies with no drilling involved. It took about 20 minutes total to install the new assembly, restring the bass and adjust the intonation. Not only does it look great, the saddles provide better sustain, so it sounds better as well.

Fender HiMass Bass Bridge
Why doesn't Fender make these HiMass Bass bridges standard on all of their MIM Fender Precision and Jazz basses? I installed HiMass on a Fender Vintera 60's Jazz Bass. The stock bridge on the Vintera was definitely inferior and of lower quality than the HiMass. The Vintera's stock bridge featured old-school flat head screws for saddle height adjustment... which is annoying, because all of my other basses utilize the hex style.... like the HiMass. HiMass was simple, easy and quick to install. If my non-mechanical ass can install this bridge.... anybody can. Only thing needed was a phillips screwdriver and the hex wrench to raise/lower saddles after strings are reinstalled. Fender included screws for the HiMass. I've seen some reviews on the HiMass saying that screws were not included and original screws must be used.... this is false. The Fender Vintera sounds great after reinstalling Ernie Ball Cobalt Flat strings and tuning up with reverse-style tuners. I can get "super low" action with the new HiMass bridge without strings buzzing on the frets. I didn't think I could get a Fender bass with action as low as say... an Ibanez Soungear, but I've managed to pull it off with the HiMass. Overall... this is an easy, inexpensive, quality upgrade to any Fender MIM or Squire Precision or Jazz Bass guitar. Highly recommended.

upgrade doesn't need to be expensive
replaced a stock metal bridge on a Fender Vinterra 2 p-bass. easy to install no modification needed. the high mass bridge added string stiffness and a little more sustain, intonates well also

Nice heavy duty bridge
Really easy to install, very well made. Fortunately no neck shim was required on my P Bass. Was able to get super low action with no fret buzz. Looks great, especially with the Fender logo written on it. I don't know if it makes any difference in sound but there is a definite tactile difference you can feel with your fingers when playing a high mass vs a standard Fender bridge. The strings feel a lot more taut and stable, which makes playing percussively and slapping easier. The added sustain makes chords ring out better too. With the standard bridge you get more of a woody old-school feel I think, with a quicker decay, which a lot of players do enjoy as well. Saddles came pre-notched but a few of the strings did not line up in between the pole pieces. It's not affecting the sound that I can tell so it's really a non issue. More of a visual thing to me. Probably adjust it at some point in the future. Overall this bridge is a 10/10. I'd definitely buy it again!

Perfect replacement
Just what's needed for a replacement on a stock Squire bass.

Nice one to one replacement for most Fender and Squire basses
This was exactly what it said it was. It was a very nice upgrade for a Squire P-bass that gave the bass a little better tuning stability and slightly better sustain. It was a one to one replacement and it screwed directly into the holes from the original bridge. It looks better than the stock bridge as well.

A must have
Omg this made such a big difference. I don’t know why fender doesn’t put these on all of their bass’s instead of those ugly bridges. They always use but this bridge is awesome. Nice tone goes on easy took like 15 minutes to put on and sounds amazing.

Convient parfaitement pour une Squier Sonic PB. Sans perçage, s'adapte parfaitement. J'ai juste conservé les visses d'origine.

This fits any Fender P bass or Jazz bass perfectly. If it has five screws and five holes you just line it up over the holes and re use your screws because it doesn't come with screws. You will have to set your bridge height and intonation but after that you have massive sustain and it is solid.
