Oxford - Heaterz Premium - Adventure

What can I say, I was a purist. After the longest winter of my life, I started looking for ways to extend my riding season. These grips run very warm, definitely help with the ride. The top of your hands will still get cold, but it's much better than nothing. I actually pair these with some thinner summer gloves because the heat conducts much more readily than through some thick winter gloves. I think the ideal pairing would be these grips, summer gloves, and some sort of cover like hippo hands or something.Install was easy, though the glue on one of the grips came loose. I just used some extra superglue. Could have been an issue with my installation. Still, 5 out of 5

Great solution to cold hands with excellent heat output. Easy install on my RE Himalayan with great directions and online resources. Like the intelligent controller that turns itself off. Wish I done it earlier.

The installation was pretty easy on a Tenere 700. I like that they connect directly to the battery via a fused link. the mounting bracket had to be slightly bent to work with the Yamaha controls. Also, I have Renthall bars. The left side has knurling to hold grips in place. Had to file this down to fit heated grip. Not hard to do. I did use a small dot of the super glue just to make solid. This newer kit has watertight connectors as well, not the molex style. I tested the auto shut off feature as well, works great. my only concern is when the grips ware out, will probably have to replace with new u nits from Oxford. Doesn't look like you can install new grips over heaters.

Installed easily. Heaters work great. Takes about a minute to warm up. 75% on a45°f day.

They get plenty warm. It seems that one is slightly hotter than the other.Easy install. Wires were perfect length and look factory when routed properly.Draws a little over 3 amps on full power. Power cycles on and off at lower settings, still at full current.

The media could not be loaded.  Amazing quality for the money, the package includes everything you need. For my installation I was putting these grips on a 2022 Kawasaki KLR 650. I had to bend the mounting bracket for the heat controller to get it to fit my handlebars, but the metal is malleable and easy to work with to get the fitment you need. Also just something to be aware of depending on the type of bar ends you have you may have to use a razor blade to trim a little excess material off of the grips. But with a little common sense this kit is a breeze to install and I’m soooo happy to have some heated grips now 🤙🏼
